Having 4 parties would be interesting. 2 in the middle (leftish and rightish) two on the more extremes. A centre government would be possible and maybe the best thing to happen politically to the USA.

For any democratic society to work, people need to be willing to compromise on their personal beliefs to work for the greater good. This is something that unfortunately neither party seems willing to do.

*(Nothing personal, but it really would be crazy. Unless both parties divided at the same time, an attempt at dividing parties would yield catastrophic results.)

Libertarian, Conservative War Hawk, Social Safety Net (Conservative), Social Safety Net (Liberal/Green).

It helps remove the current suckitude of 'least worst' voting.
