Guess the map 13: Mercator maps are cool, actually

I could argue due to an alcohol deficiency; too many sober drivers?

But it is really an argument for legalising but properly regulating alcohol.

Albeit no doubt the feminists would say due to a shortage of lady drivers.

Actually, it is quite known why. Due to the fact that there are few to none public institutions for entertainment - you know: cinemas, clubs, entertainment parks, sports fields - there is not much to do for Young People. There is however a lot of roads and deserts, so you can easily drive out to the desert, attain high speeds, do races and do drifts. Saudi Drifting or Tafheet it is called. And of course it results in a lot of car crashes. There's a lot of videos on Youtube and Co and it just leaves you asking: Why? Very senseless.

I'd say that @mitsho already had the right answer, and should post a new map, but I'm prepared to in case s/he doesn't want to.

Also interesting map :goodjob:.

Thanks, I do, but I'm preparing stuff and have a deadline, so I don't want to lose time preparing a map. Go on!

So, normally I read something interesting on wikipedia, which has a map, but right now I don't remember useful, so I'll try something different.

The below picture is entitled something like "institutions" or "political entities" in Europe.
I'll give everyone one try to write the correct names into the image (the white spots, obviously), and post it then in a spoiler here.
Most correct answers win, I'll set...mmhh... 3 days until a winner is declared.

That central blue one is clearly the EU itself and the red one with Ireland and the UK is presumably the free travel arrangement. The small purple one is the Visegrad Group (Poland, Czechia etc.)

Let me guess...

First the ones I know for sure:

Biggest square that only excludes the Vatican and Belarus: Council of Europe
Yellow one with Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein: EFTA
The one with all the Nordic Cross flags: Nordic Council
The purple one with Poland, Hungary and former Czechoslovakia: Visegrand Group (Not sure if I spelled that correctly)
Big light blue square: European Union
Big light green square: Eurozone
The one with all the Benelux countries: Benelux Union, obviously
Red square including the EFTA + all EU members except for Ireland and Cyprus: Schengen Area
Big purple one including all the EFTA members + all EU members except for Croatia: European Economic Area

And now the ones I've no idea about:

The one with the three Baltics: Baltic Council? Baltic Union? Dunno but must be something like this
The orange one with the microstates + Turkey: Mmmm... Countries with some sort of treaty with the EU? Non-Eurozone Euro users can't be otherwise Montenegro and Kosovo would be there so it must be some sort of special tretment with the EU for non-EU members
The one with al the Balkan countries except for Bosnia, Montenegro and North Macedonia (I miss the FYROM days ) but somehow includes Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia: Countries the EU has stated that fit the geographical requirements to eventually apply for the EU? Balkan Union? Balcano Fantástico? Anyways, some sore of pan-Balkan organization that failed at incorporating these three Balkan countries but weirdly incorporated non-Balkan countries because even their transnational organizations have to end up balkanized anyways
The one with Georgia, Ukarine, Azerbaijan and Moldova: I can't come up with anything other than countries the EU would like to annex but can't or Russia would be really *urinated* off.
The one with Ireland and the UK: Some sort of ad hoc organization that was created due to either the Good Friday Agreement or Brexit we continentals are too continental to comprehend.
The dark blue one with some Balkan countries in it + the UN: At first I thought it must be something related to the Balkan wars but then I realized that North Macedonia and Moldova are also part of it as well so I have absolyutely no idea what this might be
The one with Russia and Belarus alone: It must certainly be the democracy-hating anti-West club.

The blue flag seems to be of KFOR, which is a "peace-keeping force" in the central balkans. Not sure why Moldavia (?) is in that group. Unless it is prospective members (which means nothing, and most of them don't even have talks).
I also don't know what the group with Greece, Russia, Turkey, various balkan states and then the caucasian states is supposed to be. At times there are "balkan forums", but I don't know if caucasian states also take part. Maybe it is that "forum for development of south-eastern Europe" thing (?)

The Uk Ireland box is likely written up as the free movement zone, but it involves a fair bit more than that. Similar with the Scandi's box, free movement +.

The flag outside the Council of Europe seems to be Chechnya? I guess they have some sort of movement/ economic treaty with Russia?

Okay, I guess I should have made the ad-hoc rules for this one more clear.
Gangleri got the vast majority.
The diagram is taken from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_Europe

Missing from Gangleri's list:
The one with the three Baltics: Baltic Assembly
The orange one with the microstates + Turkey: EU customs Union
The one with al the Balkan countries except for Bosnia, Montenegro and North Macedonia (I miss the FYROM days ) but somehow includes Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia:Black Sea Economic Cooperation
The one with Georgia, Ukarine, Azerbaijan and Moldova: GUAM
The one with Ireland and the UK: Common Travel Area
The dark blue one with some Balkan countries in it + the UN: Not the UN, but the Kosovo, and it's the Central European Free Trade Agreement
The one with Russia and Belarus alone: Union State

Since this didn't really work, I'll post an actual map in a minute or so.

Grey = Not applicable?

Is it health related?

So I do not need to make mine full or in anyway correct.
