Per capita calorie intake.

Percentage of crops fed to animals?

Some kind of fatty food? :)

No, no fat.

Sheep then ?

No, the same map for sheep and goat meat looks like this:

Spoiler :

No.

Per capita calorie intake.

(food product) consumption per capita, humm...

Combine these two, get more specific, and you're there.

High fructose corn syrup consumption. [EDIT] Cuba is also one of the highest,k perhaps overall sugar consuption.

<Wild guess> Is this a map about cowboys?

Yes, that's it.

It is the sugar and other sweeteners part of the daily dietary composition (in kcal) per capita (2013 data). The USA leads the pack at 600 kcal, closely followed by Switzerland at 582 kcal. At the bottom you have North Korea at 38 kcal.

Good one. I am too tired to make a map now, will post tomorrow.

May fix more countries tomorrow.

I want to say energy consumption per capita... but it’s probably going to be something like games of Monopoly played outdoors and how many people pass up Baltic Ave. while wearing a purple sweater.

It is what you may call a "big" thing, in that it is something we all care about. Nothing like your examples.
I'm afraid this looks simply correlated with wealth :/ :(.

Is it important that the Czech republic doesn't have data?
True, as do so many things. It is not important about Czech republic, and I hope to be able to fix it. This is something that you could get a value for anywhere if you could collect the data. I will admit that while there is an objective methodology, you could come up with a million different ways to measure this, and come up with a million different answers.
Does it have to do with banking?
No, not at all.

Number of active CFC OT users per country? :D

This is a cool thread. I wonder when I'll have time to make a map of my own.

But I'm going to guess anyway. The only thing I can think of where Canada and Scandinavian countries might be leading is to do with forestry. I notice Costa Rica also makes the top group.

Something to do with investment in forest resources, not the actual harvest of them. So % of forest that is artificial regen?

Nothing like that at all.

Gino coefficient or something similar.?
No, not really similar. While there may be discussions about how best to measure inequality, there would be much more disagreements in how to best measure this.
