If you had to take over the world, what country would you invade first?

The Gambia. Why? Well, I would start in Senegal and just eat it, from there I blitz through Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, etc. All the way down to Benin. From there, who knows? Maybe I'll buddy up to the United States to get all the advanced arms I'd need to tear apart every other African country, then the Middle East, and finally, the world.

That was my strategy as well.

No, the reasons aren't obvious. They don't have nearly as many natural resources as Russia or the U.S. Hell, Russia would just cut off natural gas and other stuff to Europe. This isn't WW2. And even then, Germany had to get access to oil which they couldn't completely do.

I'd invade Germany peacefully, obviously, and then from America I shall conquer the surrounding countries, and Germany is in a central and wealthy point in Europe therefor allowing me to conquer the Europeans.

not really. What reason would that be? WW2? Let's see both Germany, and Russia invaded Poland. Neither country managed to take over the world.

My answer is Brazil. Whenever I'm playing Risk I usually go for the "lesser" continents first (while everyone is fighting over the big ones), get my additional troops per turn and use that to take over either North America, or Africa.

As any great Risk player knows that Europe is the last place to conquer. But then it would not be called Risk if no one attempted it, and yes, do not forget Madagascar.

I would say Australia but not for the same reasons, but because of the vast mineral wealth in the country. You need resources to get going in this world and Australia is blessed with them.

India, as a powerbase, there are plenty of ethnic groups for you to both play off each other for control of the country as well as provide recruits for the army. Hell, a glorified PMC controlled a good chunk of the subcontinent for the better part of 100 years.
