ImmacuNES II B- Emperor of the Fading Heavens

We will need a House with significant agricultural wealth to step forward and work with a house with access to spaceports, to together provide a means of exporting foods that we would then pick up and deliver to the Authority spaceport on E2. We will need the Noble Houses to arrange a proposal.

If House Eekin is willing to work with us we feel the aqua culture and fishing of Clarke could certainly provide much of what you seek. Or for that matter any of the Houses on Clarke.

Indeed the use of the orbital spaceport will nicely offset the costs of going further afield to Clarke and will allow us to use the larger and heavier VK-VIII-Class Freighter to move more food at a time.

From Ophit'Al, Sceptre-holder and Pontiff of the Sanctious'Als

To the Noble House of Hyppean

Lo, though the masses toil in search of salvation, they waste away for lack of nourishment. We have a surplus of foodstuffs that we would gladly provide to alleviate the suffering of the weary class.

If you would allow us the use of your spaceport for shipping food to the freemen, you would be blessed in the eyes of the Pancreator, and rewarded in both this world and the next.

Immaculate, would it be possible to get a listing of the major (publicly known) fief holdings and owners of each planet listed on the planetary information spoilers? It was tricky trying to find who on Arrakis has a spaceport, and I'm still not sure if anyone else has an orbital port.

Also, port-holders could easily seek out trade goods on their own planet as well.

i'll put icons on the map- how's that? until the new maps get done though.... we'll have to do things the long way- sorry for inconvenience.

i just don't want to update stats in two different places.- in the faction stats and the planet stats- it would be too much work for not enough gain.

With this we are welcome to increase the trade through our spaceport for those houses who wish to supply you for this honorable mission.

House of Thana would we amiable to sharing what food we may with Errovus, dependant on House of Koriate lending usage of their port in Cappricidia.

From the House Hyppean
To Ophit'Al

We shall allow the use of our port in this most noble of task for the small cost of 10% of the profits, purely to cover the cost of the operations taking place there.

lurker's comment: A quite mind-blowing setup here! Best of luck with progress this time around!

We would be glad to, Matriarch Thana.

The charioteers/Coachmen have a bid of 12MF for the use of their
3rd Merchant Fleet (E2) (SOP: no orders- looking for contract)
1 VK-II-Class Freighter, 1 Double-V-Class Frigate

The querry house, with their orbital spaceport looks to be the favorite for the Coachmens's
# 1st Merchant Fleet (E2) (no orders- looking for contract)
1 VK-VIII-Class Freighter, 1 OK-IV-Class Freighter, 1 Rabid-Class Destroyer
due to their orbital spaceport IF they can get some food together to export.
they would expect about 10MF for the use for 1 turn but less if its a turn after turn contract.

If you guys bid higher, then the coachmen may offer you their ships.

remember also that LdiCesare (tsedeq) has a ship availabe but it doesn't come with a military escort.

We are willing to provide food but alas, our farms are poor and we have no orbital spaceport. What little food we can spare we will gladly send to the serfs of Errovus, our neighbors and sole connection with civilization. We only need a planet capable freighter to carry what food we have. Lady Eireneprone, my dear wife, is a skilled manager and could help organize the distribution of goods on Errovus.

Lord Nerius

House Klorin is pleased to announce its Candidacy for the Regency. As a great thinker of the past once said “Politics isn't about big money or power games; it's about the improvement of people's lives.”

Never has this been truer than today.

Every day, Thousands of freemen starve on Errovus Secundus, Every day the Symbiots push further and further on Stigmata, at the cost of the lives of Hundreds of the brave soldiers of the Imperium, Every day the light of our suns fades just a little more.

The present course of our existence is a bleak one, Lords and Ladies, and this is something that House Klorin will NOT countenance.

On stigmata, the Symbiots grow ever bolder, pushing more brutal attacks towards the Jump gates, threatening all of the Known worlds. The men and women fighting in the fleet are showing the greatest bravery and daring, and do a credit to their houses of origin, but THIS IS NOT ENOUGH!

Eventually, the symbiots will push through, and ALL of the known worlds will fall. One by one, the holdings of the all Houses will be overrun, one by one the serfs will be turned into hosts for abominations, until finally even the Gold Throne is crushed beneath the Chitinous heel of the Symbiot.

House Klorin has a plan, a scheme with which we hope to turn back the evil tide, prevent it from gaining footholds on those few sacred worlds left to humanity, and finally eradicate this threat from the Home of Humanity.

And Finally, though this will take time, dedication, and faith, We Pledge to find our lost brethren among the stars, Bring them the Light of the Empire, And reconnect all aspects of humanity.

We pledge to bring the fight to symbiots. We will destroy them on their nesting worlds, then purge those worlds with Holy Flame so that no living thing will live on them for ages.

We will find and hunt down the treacherous Elves, burn their forests and raze their worlds. We will shatter their crystal towers and claim their cities as holdings for the Empire. None shall survive, save those we spare as everlasting reminders of the consequences of treachery.

That, Friends, is a bright future, one where we will be PROUD to be Human, where all will look upon the Imperium in awe, or be swept aside like the filth they are. A future where Every world shines under the Light of the Empire, where Heresy is Non-existant. A Future where none Starve, not even the Freemen of Errovus, as There are an infinite amount of worlds where they can settle under the guidance of the Nobility.

This Future, friends, is why House Klorin should become Regent to the Throne.

Thus Spoke Lord Kawalen

House Koriate officially gives their support to the House Klorin's bid for Regency.

Defending ourselves against the symbiote threat is our great Imperium's first priority, and House Klorin promises to do so. With House Klorin, we shall eliminate the Symbiotes from Stigmata for all eternity, and bring glory back to the mortal races once more.

OOC: Hm, you say it's proud to be Human, but what about the Orcs and Gnolls? They seem to be doing about asmuch dying as Humans on Stygmata.

House Klorin Encompasses all Loyal Races to be Human. Orcs and Gnolls are as Human as Elves and Kappa are not. Humanity merely means Loyalty to the Phoenix Throne and to the Church.
Remember House Klorin has as one of it's scepter holders Lady Embra, Matriarch of All Orcs.

ahh, ok. You make your saving throw;).

Immaculate: You forgot to implement my pre-game policy, if I may have it (saves an action):
Spoiler :
Cathrinn Naprous will take the lead in instituting a policy to recruit the most capable, and only the most capable freemen, from the large pool of loose manpower on E2. In particular people with technical and combat abilities will be selected, though very highly intelligent uneducated freemen are also given a chance. It's not absolutely necessary, but there's a big bonus to being single as it avoids family entanglements from recruiting and we prefer to profile a fitting spouse for them among other intelligent and healthy men and women.

Regarding the current famine on E2
House Naprous would like to remind everyone that part of a more permanent solution could be arrived at by investing in Naprous' agricultural infrastructure (and guaranteeing our safety through treaties) to boost food production on Errovus Secundus. We would be happy to share the bulk (i.e. the majority) of the profit made by investing in us. A slice of the increased profit and the security of our house combined with the happiness of the people is all we ask.

Regardless we understand Errovus Secundus will never be able to feed itself given the current population and agricultural demographics and that both solutions are necessary. We simple plead that the more efficient solution not be ignored as we are willing to take a back seat to the profits from your investments in return for the security represented by a collective investment of houses in Naprous.

Sir 'Hellwind' Eekin is more than willing to provide any excess food to the Authority, if anyone wants to contact us for shipping purposes, as we lack proper facilities for shipping, they may do so.
