500,000 is good. if you win this battle, the forces will find out what the capital is, take the land surrounding it and besiege it heavily. there is no way Sparta would win.

but that leaves you with 500,000 to guard the borders and internal areas. forgive me President but that seems a tad thin. i hate to be a bother or a nag, but there is 4 million perfectly good strong Byzantine men who were previously in the military.

Don't worry, this war will be short and should unite everyone (for the time being), I doubt there will be any serious revolts/unrest.

As for Boston. Because of the draw, I order my troops to start digging in, as to help negate any counter-attack bonuses America gets.

EDIT: The above battle should be ignored in the light that the previous battle wasn't a win for me, but a draw.

Due to Sparta declaring independence and I declaring war; I invade the norther border of his territory (basically the stretch of land in between Korinthos and Patra).

Actually, while I have little clue what actually decides bonuses/modifiers (saw one of the 1's I rolled became a 4, some penalty or something) I am confused how some of the battles seemed to have gone. Anyway, I'll still be around to keep rolling; will try to get to a next set tomorrow morning I guess as it seems you all are moving fast.

So, for example:

My troops are on the move again to secure the last portion of Sparta for Israeli control, the battle for south Sparta begins!

Nope. Not Boston. We tied, and therefore you didn't gain any land. That also means no counter-attack bonus, however.
