! means "turtles."
That's the link for the article generator, Terrance.
In other news, the Miner's Union has gathered 100% of Zululand's Miners: even the Dictator for Life 'Terrancer' Kansantas is the head of this organization. New international charters are being spotted in Central Asia, South America, and within the Alps.
Most of us don't have claims to do, and war is mostly out of the equation.
Map updated. One territory dispute has been forwarded to the UN.

The República de Punta Arenas is suing Patagonia for peace, demanding the return of Buenos Aires Province to the NCSA and recognition of Punta Arenas' right to sovereignty.
News on the March
Atomic weapons now available
Despite the Hetmanate's best (non-violent) efforts, it has so far been unable to secure the remaining viable warheads from the other nuclear powers. While a few nations were verified to have decommissioned their arsenal during the peace, the overwhelming majority refused to allow UN inspectors and are presumed to still maintain functional ICBMs.
More worrisome, however, are the four warheads captured by rebels during the global political unrest at the end of the war. Having vanished into the depths of the black market, they may be covertly sold to devious non-nuclear states... or may be used by rebel groups themselves.
An alternative method of missile disposal
In response to this threat, the Hetmanate has stepped up its disarmament initiative. In conjunction with the UN and the NLLP, it has started a programme, codenamed the "Lacuna Project", to acquire, analyze, and process nuclear weapons to develop an inventory on the current designs, components and configurations to aid in the reboot of Pacifistan's Strategic Defence Initiative. The broader the database of known makes and models, so is reasoned, the sooner a "universal" shield can be developed.
The catch: the warheads must be in an operational state in order to be of any value to the project. After extensive negotiation with the UN, the Hetmanate offers the following incentive: Any nation that transfers a warhead to the Hetmanate explicitly for the programme gains a reputation benefit of +5, rather than +2 through normal decommission. The Hetmanate reasserts that it will not tolerate any nation undertaking a weapons programme, even if the intent is to provide complementary R&D for the SDI.
Prepare for WAAAAGH!
Something's in the air, and it's not just radiation. Observation posts across the globe are reporting dramatic increases in Abhorrent activity. Bolstering security in and around Red Zones is strongly advised as wasteland province breakouts seem inevitable. Expect attacks beginning next turn.
Ceylon Calls For Aid
Denying any connection to the attack on the Sri Lankan Prime Minister, the government of North Ceylon has made a desperate plea for outside intervention, asserting "with certainty" that the incident will precipitate military action, although stopped short of suggesting the attack was staged. Tamil Nadu has expressed interest in leading a UN-mandated peacekeeping force along the national border.
With the Marian PAE being respected, President de Sombra of course gives thanks to all the nations of the world for not interfering in it.
Now, for the newest round of scooping up Blue Zones!
The Congolese territories expand further, and the populace is enjoying the investment.
Defenses are readied in red zones. While some question the worth of the conflict, the government says that if the Abhorrents take the red zones, they'll be on the doorstep of the Yellow, and from there, the Blue! They must be repulsed and snuffed out before they snuff out the Kaetif and humans of the world alike.
The economy, meanwhile, continues to grow. The Congo basin allows both rich rubber resources for export to nations who desire them for civilian or military purposes, while food is also becoming plentiful. The diet of the Kaetif is very reliant on agriculture, after all, given the fact it is taboo to eat any kind of meat apart from maybe fish.
While keeping 2 ICBMs for a deterrent, the Federation believes disarmament to be the best result with time. As such, it donates 1 ICBM to the Lacuna Project. It is hoped this will jumpstart the program's efforts.
claim more land in the same island as always.
defenses super up in yellow to red zones.
Donate 3 ICBMs to the Lacuna Project. Keep other 2 for sUper D.
Claiming the providences east of me (3). Then 2 to the west.
Just a reminder that nukes can only be handled one-at-a-time. I can try to remember orders over multiple turns, but the onus remains on the player.
well since im starting as the federation of savanna, a few things need to be done:
a new leader takes over the country
a new leader has being elected by popular vote. originally from Athens, he fled the area when nukes started firing to the uncontaminated area of Africa. there, he slowly worked his way up to be the leader of the Federation. he promises a great future for our nation, and to be the epitome of rational thought, neutrality, and prosperity in africa.
our first action is to establish a capital at the largest city under our control. (will look around for it.) once we have foudn the largest city,w e shall claim it as the capital.
our second action is to try and placate the powerful marians by offering them a chace to normalize relations with a trade agreement and a non aggression pact.
our third action is to expand to the coast. of africa, for obvious reasons. i dont have to tell you that being land locked tends to suck. we do try and save room for the marians.
FoS (hehehe): seeing that your leader guy is Macedonian, doesn't that make us allies, or at least "friends?"
We have no reason to be placated, as any tolerant, free society is considered a friend.
We will, nonetheless, however, accept a NAP and trade agreement! We seek friendship with all nations that are not ruled by tyrants.
for some reason, the nation was wary with you. glad to see that it was corrected
actually, he was born in Constantinople, but the coward surrendered his nation. so...yes, i guess he is Macedonian.
and, we shall see if we are friends or not. weren't you heavily nuked for some reason?
Why yes, I did kill the commies.
Petrograd steps up building border fortresses near its "red" provinces.
In light of current world tensions, Petrograd institutes a draft calling for all able citizens between the ages of 18-24 to serve in the armed forces for a period of at least two years.
To Ceylon: Petrograd would like to be able to forward its projection into the Indian Ocean and would thus provide assured defense in return for a large naval base in your territory.
The Republic of Portugal would like to ask the Marians if the Portuguese people may claim a single territory in Africa to fall back to should the Abhorents overrun Portugal.
In other news, democracy has made a huge leap in Portugal today as Adao Antanonio Santos officially declares a council, appointed by him, to guide the nation. This victory is the first time since the first cataclysm that power has been taken from the elected dictator. Hopefully, this will pave the way for future democratic reforms.
Kingdom of Konchasa
Expansion of the Kingdoms borders and trade agreements was progressing quite well. Access to the sea had been recently obtained, and very few conflicts with the kingdoms expansion plans had surfaced. This expansion had been so successful, and opposition to expanding into what could be a crowded landscape had been so low, that the King set his goal of expansion a little more to the west.
Realizing these gains would hopefully make the Kingdom a very strong trading partner and potentially a center of African power.
The Kingdom of Konchasa once again extends an offer of trade with the Federation of the Savannah. Hopefully with new leadership and access to the sea by both nations, trade will soon be possible.
Below is an updated claims map with expansion this turn in the darker green.
To the other Members of the Pan-African Alliance
Do we allow the portuguese settle this "Embassy" upon african territory if they promise to only use it as such?
To the Portuguese
As long as it is just an embassy for your people, and as a possible fall-back in case of war, and not an oppressive colony and that you promise it will stay so, I will gladly urge the other Pan African Alliance members to allow you to settle that single african province.
To the Marians
If we never asked you or anything, I don't consider you an outsider as you have significant investments in africa and in the African People.
-Terrancer, Dictator For Life of the Zulu Confederation of Self-Determination, President of the Miner's Union of the World, with Charter offices in Southern Africa, Central Asia, the Alps and Southern France as well as the Andes.
The Federation gladly accepts your trade agreement
in other news, we discovered that most of the land was uninhabited, with no truly large cities within our control. so we make our own. the Capital's name is Sava, and it is located in this province (marked in red) (i did not remove the claims from that map)
the capital is currently under construction, and if the other more modern nations (cause we are not modern in the least) can help, we would greatly appreciate it
North Ceylon: We greatly appreciate Petrograd's interest and are willing to provide docking rights, but given our diplomatic unfamiliarity we cannot offer a permanent station at this time.
