Imperium Offtopicum: The Aftermath

We would like to reassure the africans that the territory will not be a colony, it will have equal say in all matters.

EDIT - Nevermind, wasn't paying attention to where the other claims are...

At least three, if not all five, of those claims are in direct conflict with what other nations have already claimed this turn...

Claims in red:

The Republic of Portugal would like to ask the Marians if the Portuguese people may claim a single territory in Africa to fall back to should the Abhorents overrun Portugal.

Said single territory is fine with the Social Nationalist (PNSFM - Partido Nacionalista Social de la Federación Mariana) government.

To the Marians
If we never asked you or anything, I don't consider you an outsider as you have significant investments in africa and in the African People.

The de Mar administration is happy to hear this sentiment, and hopes for better Pan-African relations in the future.

We step up defenses in red zones. China announces that we will declare war on any nation undertaking an atomic weapons program.

a bit late don't you think? several nations already have nukes.

The Lord Ravanius points out that most nuclear nations have not produced nukes since the war, and as such must restart their nuclear programs if they wish to increase their stockpile. The Lord Ravanius also states that Hong Kong under his rule will not be begining any Nuckear programs. We are a peaceful nation, and live in an area that is proof of the horrors of war.

Having preexisting nukes from decades ago isn't the same as beginning a nuclear weapons program.

oh. well, we wont use nukes, but we may have to increase the military size the compensate for it.

Math, I STRONGLY suggest you read the front page in its entirety.

The Hetmanate wishes to negotiate with Vermont a proposal for military right of passage through French Guiana to fortify our territory in Suriname. In recompense, we can offer to help protect Vermont against Abhorrent encroachment from the surrounding Red Zones.

I suppose being peaceful isn't an option in the modern world; what with the apocalypse the last war caused and all.

i don't quite understand what you mean. i aware that the army isn't represented, its just a bit of role playing.

my army isn't even that big, 100,000 people, only half of which can actually fight.

Most nations don't have nukes and the entirety of the scenarios revolves around the fact that developing bombs will put you on the world's superpower's "Imma mess you up" list.

Vermont is in a very fragile place since the war, so any help we can possibly get in clearing toxic debris and making water safe to drink again can't be ignored, so of course you can have a military right of passage.

Germany's Claims

With Nuclear Weapons being freely available, I find that it's right time to reassert Germany's Nuclear-Weapons-Free-Zone policy.

@Hetmanate: With nuclear weapons proliferation going on. We'd like to make the announcement that Germany has gone ahead and declared itself as a Nuclear Weapons Free Zone. While we don't have any nuclear arms in our inventories, we cannot donate any missiles to the Lacuna Project. However, we'd like to help in other ways.

@Ceylon: The German Republic would be happy to send an expeditionary force to aid in your defense
