Time for a new sig. It means:

Learn from the comrade Lei Feng's good example, strive to become the next Darwin Award winner.

It's a parody of this poster:

The text says: Learn from the comrade Lei Feng's good example, strive to study Marxism-Leninism and Maoism.

Yeah, he was a good debater from the right.

I'm thinking of switching up avies again. Any suggestions? (keep with the space stuff + awesomeface theme, please)
To honour the new names for Pluto's newest moons that were announced yesterday, find a picture of the dwarf planet with all of its moons and replace Pluto itself with awesomeface.

Or does the theme have to involve space vehicles?

Kerberos and Styx have been named now? Nice one. :)

As long as they don't use Lethe or Tartarus for names for any future moons, things should be fine. :trouble: ;)

Well, at least if they called another moon Lethe, anyone who went there wouldn't remember it afterwards.

^ hoho. I see what you did there.

Spoiler :
It's not often I get the chance to say that.

I didn't get it at all.

Leythe is a moon I went to in Kerbal Space Program and I remember it quite well. It was beautiful there.

And I may have stranded a few astronauts there....

Hm, originally i disliked the name Styx given to an astronomical object, since i thought it was just a river or the point where the rivers of Hades were united. Turns out it was also the name of a deity that lived in that river :)

Kerberos is a cool name for a moon or planet. Since it was a servile being it would not be a good name for a Star.

Lethe is a good name too, given it means "lack of memory/ loss of memory/oblivion/forgetfulness". It is a very important word, actually, given that the Greek word for "truth" is aletheia, which means "lack of oblivion".

One of the most revealing ancient Greek terms in my view :)

Spoiler In case you want the joke explained :
It was a joke referencing the river Lethe, from the Underworld, the river of forgetfulness, implying any visitors to the moon of the same name would forget about it.

The name says it all. :mischief:

There is a write-up with pictures in the KSP thread in All Other Games. It was a fun mission - I used my standard Duna lander/launch stack just to see if I could get there. I never intended to get back though if I hadn't crashed (it's really hard to hit those tiny islands on Laythe) then I *might* have been able to get back to orbit for a decent rescue mission. As is, they are stuck there forever in a save file that's incompatible with the newest release version.

That launcher is ridiculously overpowered; I could use the final stage of it to get all the way to Duna and get an orbit before I ever fired up the landers.

I changed my profile picture to an Old Republic character of mine, the Miraluka sorceress Darth Sakaria. Not that Yet Another Image of Korra was getting stale, but...

Still can't think of anything, and none of the images anywhere on my computer appeal to me right now. And I don't feel like wasting time googling something that neither google nor any other search engine in the world will ever be able to find anyway.

Any ideas?

Futurama is a classy and safe bet.

And I'll love you forever.
