The Emperor has signed agreements to reserve parts of Macao and Shanghai to be administrated by the Countries asked to sign this agreement. The parts administrated by these Countries will be allowed to have their own regulations and laws in their designated areas. From these parts, they are allowed to trade with China and all nations friendly towards China. They are allowed to sell their wares to any of the locals in the area at a reasonably higher tax than Chinese merchants. They must however, follow all Chinese regulation, laws, etc. The laws and regulations established by these countries in the areas that they have administrative access to must not contradict Chinese laws and regulations.

WAR!

A Skirmish In Iberia​

War has struck Europe again! On June 30, 1840, the European Union formally declared war on the nations of al-Andalus and Paris-France. This comes after a meltdown in European politics, known as the November Crisis. That came after Russian departure from the European Union and their declaration of the events that were being planned. Due to these developments, this declaration of war shocked few in Europe. The apparent leaking of an early draft of warplans did raise spirits a bit in the European Union, however.

Although they were expecting war with the EU, officials in Vichy were shocked to learn that only one day later, on July 1st, the Empire of Brazil had declared war on Paris-France. Apparently the Brazilians did not like them in their backyard, and the European Union took advantage of this and gained their assistance in defeating an old foe. The following is a statement made by EU Foreign Minister Alec Claymore on the recent developments:

The European Union's recent decision to pursue a war with these two nations comes after a long road of threats of force against our members. While certainly the leaking of information made us hasten our plans, we wish to make it known to the rest of the world that we are declaring war today because we see the nations of al-Andalus and Paris-France as hostile to the goals and ambitions of the European Union, which is a peaceful and united Europe.

We understand that some may see war as an odd way to achieve peace, but by declaring war now, we are defusing an even greater war that has been building since the end of the Napoleonic Wars. We hope that the rest of the world understands that this decision was not made in haste, and we wish there was a better way. Our hearts and prayers go out to the people of France and Iberia, and we hope that their governments will see reason and surrender to us before there is too much bloodshed.

To sum it up, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the German Empire, the Sultanate of Lusitania, the Kingdom of Italy, and the French Algerian Republic are at war with the Sultanate of al-Andalus and Paris-France. The Empire of Brazil is at war with Paris-France.

The years have been good to us, my people. Who is to say that, in the few years we have been our own nation, we have not accomplished feats that our ancestors would be proud of? The steppes are ours, and the Chinese to the east defend us as we defend them. Manchuria trades with our merchants and our people head a major diplomatic organisation.

We have done well.

But there is much more that we must do to build a legacy as the khans before us did. Emissaires have been sent to Qasak lands, and we hope that they will join our nation soon. An army is being raised in order to defend our territories. Goods are being produced to make the lives of the Mongols of Borjiginia happier and more luxurious by the day.

We have an influence on the world, my people. Temujin himself, he who was Genghis, and Ogedai his third child, Kublai who wisely ruled an empire that spanned much of the continent, would all be proud of us. We have done enough.

But for the children of conquerors? ...Actually, yes. I believe this is what we must see from a new Mongolia.

Stand proud, for we are the silver people.

1) Something that solidifies GR's grasp on everything in the next 10 or so years
2) Something that gets so overblown that it cripples everyone in it and some schmuck on another continent will just swoop in and om nom everything, because I highly doubt this thing won't be anything better for defense than an even fight. Especially since Mad Man is ragequitting for no damn reason.

FOOTBALL WORLD CUP​

An annoucement from the governement has reported that there will be a Football World Cup in four years hosted in Australia's very own Sidney! This is a response to the European Union's unjust war against the peaceful Paris-France and Al-Andalus. "We are against this war and denounce it but we will take no part in it since we are a peaceful nation." says Nikolia Vadin. Melinda Raz says, "Our World Cup is in response to this war in showing that nations can come together and forge bonds peacefully." "All nations are invited except the nations of the European Union unless they end this war immediately" says a government representative. "We hope that all nations send soccer teams and that we can cooperate succesfully to make this a success since this has not been done since the Greeks did in ancient times." says Nikolai Vadin during an interview with the Australian Times.

To sum this up, we are hosting a Football World Cup in Sidney four years from now. (Next Update) All nations are invited except for the European Union Nations who will only be able to come when they end this war immediately.
