If you defend at your current skill level, you won't get very far, given that you lost ninety two thousand men last turn, and you've managed to gain revolts in every corner of your nation. This is your one last chance for peace.

92,000 which can be easily replaced. The revolts will be crushed easily they stand no chance. If you try to take that land by force I will massacre or perhaps enslave the pouplance, burn the city, the land, salt the fields and make the land useless to you for the next 1000 years in addition you will spill the blood of thousands of more of your soldiers for the desolate ruined land.

With your economy which is barely Good Enough? Stop fooling yourself.

The revolts will be crushed easily they stand no chance.

Only if they lay down all their weapons. Which is... unlikely, given your statements below.

If you try to take that land by force I will massacre or perhaps enslave the pouplance,

Your own people? Thank you, that's a nice bit of information we'd love to give them.

burn the city,

You'll waste a lot of kerosene trying to burn mudbrick. And infuriate your people.

the land,

You'll only fertilize it with ashes, and starve your men.

salt the fields and make the land useless to you

You must have a hell of a lot of salt.

for the next 1000 years in addition you will spill the blood of thousands of more of your soldiers for the desolate ruined land.

We'll spill our blood? Don't give me that nonsense. You've failed every time you tried to do so in the past.

OOC: Delenda Est Carthago, Bactrasha, Et China! Death to the Big 3! :p

Ach, all I gotta say is now you easterners pay for not having built enough military. Pwahahahfafafafafaf!
*Sigh* as a native HongKonger it was nice to see Hong Kee grow strong but they were sooo doomed, rich but sort of weak. Are they still alive?

Oh well I lost the Caribs, maybe they'll reorganize the coming BT.

Hmmm the Hong Kee DIDN'T survive...
Hey, if y'all so pissed at China for betrayal why don't you just waste him? It usually only takes about five turns from two fronts.

OOC: Guess who the Administrator of SAR Hong Kong is? :p

And what are you talking about, Tote? Bactrasha lost 7 Thousands short of the total combined armies of Rome, Carthage, and Dacia-Illyria (92 vs. 99). If anything this upcoming war is going to make the Punic Wars look like picnics. If we don't get the spotlight, I'll be rather offended.

Sooo? You guys have been at it for 1 year/turn/X!! :-)
The Transpoenic war has been shedding rivers of blood for centuries!

Nice story Kentharu, post 3400 with that rebellion; a modern crowd in front of a PC-game god, lol

Wow. I finally accomplish my life's work in Carthage and everyone focuses on the East, when the West gets interesting again. Pretty damn funny.

EDIT: Having just seen the comments from Toteone and Symphony, I must agree with Toteone. But for the Punic Wars (thank you for calling them that instead of the n00bish "Transpoenic", Symphony ;)), the Western world would have all united and smashed the many and separate city-states of the East a long time ago!

OOC: The whole damn world is at war. You'll have to share. :p Nice job on that though. Now quick, burn it! That's the in-thing for capitols of evil, genocidal empires this year!

Good smash on Carthage Dachspmg! Totally wicked that Cartago delenda est. :-)
I think people care, it's just never really been war in Asia before and they were bragging their knickerbockers off about how peaceful and prosperous they were. Fat load of good it does them now!

So Cymru is in England, right?
Ach for once I don't want to be responsible for any devestations I made (all I wanted was my Caribs back anyways)... I'm a stupid Totoro and now I want to play an unspoilt nation in a better and more exciting way.

The Golden Rule and Goal of Gaming: Everyone having fun.

@ Tote: You use German words when you live in Norway and are of Chinese descent????

OOC: Yeah, yeah. If not for this war we'd probably have been well-established in the Med. within about 2 - 3 turns. I wish it was the modern age, but this is still prudent:

Anyway, that's my spam for the day. Back to the story mill.

What german words? I've had some german classes so it's snuck into my language; also I translate my thoughts into English and speak it in my dreams but I haven't been reading enough lately, it's a middle ground for my languages. I really enjoy it, it has such a great vocabulary and feel to it.

Carthago delenda est? I think that's Latin.

to Ulaids:
See? We told you. If we will free your lands will you leave us alone and trade or must we occupy you?

I don't know if das is going to allow this...

*dropping Celts*

Tufan!
Improve military leadership!

Use our army to raid anyone who lets down their guard now that it's all out-war! Pillage and bring home young wives, wines, goods and shiny stuff.

Tufan
Capital: Tufan
Ruler: Sima-yang
Government: Kingship
Centralization: Tight Federation
Tech. Level: Middle Iron Age
Religion: Confucianism (small Kalingan Hinduist minority)
Army (Training): 38 thousands (Better)
Navy (Training): None yet
Air Force (Training): 3 kites (Rabble)
Economy: Normal
Leadership (Military/Civilian): Tolerable/Tolerable
Infrastructure: Pathetic
Education: Literate
Culture: Strongly Cultured
Confidence: Tolerating
Projects:
Nation Background: The pro-Chinese state of Tufan has grown in envy of the more Hindu-like Bod in the west - and recently, after centuries of preparation, the Roof of the World have under Tufan's reign.

OOC:
Nice update das, but I should have 38 thousands, not 28 because 52-14=38.

Did I mention that by the time I finished the update I was rather tired? ;)
@Das: Great update, but why did I lose TWO levels of civilian leadership - from brilliant to better.

Not entirely sure myself... Some of it might have been due to potential cadres being largely lured away to military and scientific academies instead...

Also Das, you forgot to upgrade my men to elite training.

It was neutralized by the army growth.
Also, Das, was my loss of Army training because total there were 4 upgrades to land forces (2 Army, 2 Marine)? Since they're handled as internal branches I imagine it wouldn't go down by that, but the training stat of one is linked to the other, so... eh. Won't complain. Beyond what level do training penalties take a hit anyway? Adding 10 Thousand or 15 Thousand?

It varies. But yes, it was because of the army AND marine growth.
Um, if my rebellion was crushed, how did I get more units.

You got units and THEN they were crushed (well, some escaped into the countryside) after prolonging the campaign there quite nastily. ;)
ANOTHER problem das - my education should be at enlightenment. It was educated last turn, so i spent TWO education points to get it to Academic, and the additional education granted by my song should put me at enlightenment.

Hmm. Not quite sure what happened here, it probably should be raised back up...

Oui. *laughs maniacally*

And is it me or did they Ahniliate about 5 of My Cities?

Aye, that they did.

Das- Nothing about the Norge invasion except a few dispaced warriors destroying a Noruguese trade post?

Hmm. Polar bears running amok and creating bad weather after some minor raids forced the Norge to flee west? Its as good excuse as any, I guess...

The destroyed Tu-Chueh aren't fighting the Bactrashans, but still fight China and Rising Sun in spirit! And despite being invaded by them, I still have a NAP with the Rising Sun.

The Tu-chueh are represented by five bored warriors who decided not to fight the Bactrashans but to declare themselves the "Tu-chueh army" and to help the other Turks in their raids against China, whilst the RS forgot to break the treaty officially. ;)
showing to all but trained eyes a sign of criminal activity

There's something wrong with those words...
@Herr Das I thought that the Germanic tribes south of me would have joined in as well? Why didn't They?

Hmm? They were supposed to join you? I thought you only meant the ones between you and Armorica.

IC:

From: Pachacamac
To: Huancac

You might want to reconsider that soon...

From: Spartans
To: Constantinople

Sparta will rather side with Rome then with the likes of you!

*secret*
From: Atticans
To: Constantinople

The time is not yet ripe. But we will consider it....
*secret*

(Other Greeks don't have any serious centralized resistance leadership and/or don't want to speak with you)

From: Santonegia
To: Armorica

But ofcourse! Our forces are on the way!

From: Garamantean Government
To: Constantinople

I will be reasonable - if the rebels lay down their arms now and agree not to interfere with my policies, I will promise them amnesty.

From: Garamantean Rebels
To: Constantinople

We refuse. Do you not see that Rectafi is too much of a threat to be allowed to rule our great nation?
