ITNESI History Thread

What's the people's opinion of the past assembly then

They were brainwashed and forgot all about it. ;)

Will you speak to their military level, relations with neighbors and contacts with "old world" nations?

The military is disciplinned and experienced, but somehow backwards. Bad relations with neighbours, especially with Tiwanuku (to the south). No contact with the Old World yet.

How different is their slash and bash army from those found overseas? Any metals yet worked?

You do have bronze. Huanc army is generally well-known for its mix of fanaticism and iron disciplinne. Plus its infantry-based, for obvious reasons.

What about Disenfranchised? I recall him being the player of Huancac back then.

Guess why things worked so well for Dukunnugeya. ;)

One last question das - how strong is Gaul's navy?

Its weakish and outdated, due to over a century of neglect.

I'll take the Onoghur Empire

I may join this depending on what is going on.

Which Slavic state is which? I am assuming the area in OTL Poland is Slavenia because that is the nation I am interested in.

Yea, I'm not too clear on the reserving thing...since some people are already assuming certain nations are theres, and they had not played the previous ITNES.

I was gonna wait for stats to try to reserve anything, but now that everything's being jumped, I'd like something in the british isles, although I suppose what I'm hoping is Norge would be fun as well. If neither is available, I really will just wait for stats and decide then.

das a few pages back said:
Open nations:
Aztlan, Adena, Guangala, Huancac (Dis switched...), Tiwanuku, Brigantea, Icenia, Norge, Jutland, Svearland, Frankreich, Cimberland, Wenedia, Slavania, Nadruvia, Mordvinia, Onoghuria, Wagadou, Khoisania, Phoenicia, Israfid, Turan, Choson, Suzhou.

Strike through is my "claim". You should check some of the more recent posts to see if any others were taken.

You know, I already wrote a nice story :D

Actually it was an ironic historical essay about how one arrow changed the fate of East Asia forever :p

The world is such a small place, more like the universe ;)

Thanks BJ, I did see that list, I just have only a vague idea of where each of those countries are ;) Stats help me locate what the bloody hell he's talking about.

Fine then, how strong am I compared to the bastards?

Don't worry, you're much stronger, for now. ;)

No, from what I remember reading from das' update that's Wenedia.

True.

Now honestly, people, wait for the stats. Many questions - especially military-related ones - will naturally be answered in those.

Also, no reservations are accepted apart from those that are, and even those that are will also be ignored by me if they aren't confirmed within twodays of the NES' actual start.

The Reservations That Be:
Olmecia - Kal'thzar
Nortugal - erez87
Caledonia - Grandmaster
Gaul - Insane_Panda
Tarunia - Reno
DIE - Finmaster
Hellas - emu
Carthage - Sheep
Egypt - MjM
Dukunnugeya - Disenfrancised
Luca - andis-1
Parhae - Lord_Iggy
Aryavarta - North King
Tieh China - alex994
Hong Kong - BananaLee
Khmeria - Symphony D.
Nihon - conehead234

Hey, das, anything in my size out there?...that hasn't been taken?

Excellent BT update, old boy. Good show! (I'm still pinin' for the Romans, tho.)

Slavania is it between Alans and Ugrians? (nation names on the map would be really kewl)
