320 AD (0): Wow, it's been a long time since I played in this game. Diplo check reveals that the Germans have Philosophy, and no one else has any tech worth grabbing. With the research rate this slow and this much cash on hand (1867g!), I restart research on Polytheism, due in 14 turns at 20% as opposed to 34 turns at 10%. Max research would get it in 8 turns, but this way we are still making 84 gpt. We're running 20% luxuries, which is troubling, and I shave it down to 10% by giving Santiago an entertainer and MMing it to stop growing- it's not going to be allowed to grow again until after it gets a Colosseum. It's size 11 already. Madrid will need an entertainer when it grows again, but that's not surprising as it will be size 11, and can wait to build its Colosseum. This bumps our income up from 84 gpt to 110gpt, which is definitely worth a few entertainers.
Also, unless a city is about to hit size 8, or is hopelessly corrupt, it should get a courthouse before a colosseum. Courthouses will speed the construction of the colosseum, and cathedrals are preferable in any case, should we get them in enough time. Multiple cities are prioritized to do this.
Cities without defenders are swapped to build ones, and cities with only a warrior defender are swapped to build spears unless the project under construction is much farther along. Cities without defenders=weedy AI war declarations, and hinder trade. Defenders are nice to have upgrade paths for, especially if we get Sun Tzu, which would be great on our huge continent. Cities building libraries that don't have temples are swapped to temples.
Valladoid is building a worker, when it won't grow in 6 turns. Please don't do this.
I demand that Bizzy move his troops, and he does- I think he's determined not to bust his own rep, or commit suicide by provoking war. We have 15 turns left on the peace treaty, and he may make contact with the other AI by then, but with the Great Library, that is GOOD. If Korea has already built the Hanging Gardens, then the other AI should by much farther ahead, or at least at tech parity, when we find them. I'm not going to give away contact with Germany, but it won't be the end of the world if the Romans or Americans find them before they die.
(IT): Nothing happens, but it takes me ~3-4 minutes on my computer to wait for everything to move. Turning off all animations but battles helps!
330 AD (1): Biz moves his settler pairs out again. Horses are fortified until I have something to do with them, as Biz is being rational. Madrid gets an entertainer for 3 turns until its Colosseum completes.
340 AD (2): Usual demand & response from Biz- this will qualifiy as

until he actually refuses. I try founding 'Vigo' and the settler goes to kneel... but the error message says 'Too many cities.'
Abe has Philosophy... which means we'll get it from the Great Library in 1 turn. Both Biz and Abe are going the Republic route!
350 AD (3): Philosophy pops from the Great Library. German settler/spear pairs appear to be backing off from our territory in some places.
(IT): We lose several suicide galleys.

400 AD (8): Rome has Polytheism, and will probably go for Construction- I keep research on, as we'll get it in 4 turns anyway. However, Currency should be our next project, as the Americans and Germans seem to be heading towards Republic, and Rome will probably head towards Monarchy.
(IT): Biz wants to trade World Maps. Silly Biz.
410 AD (9): Slider adjusted to get Polytheism in 1.
420 AD (10): Polytheism discovered; Currency started at max possible research, due in eight turns. Although we could get more gold and get it in eight turns, the price might drop- leave it at max possible without a deficit. We have over 2k gold right now, and we need to catch up with the civs we haven't met yet.
