I've considered numerous times what to write in this thread, to express my admiration and gratefulness for Leoreths amazing work, taking Rhyes already great mod to new heights, and continuously improving it with new features and content. I still really don't know where to start and end. We got our first computer in my family with the release of Windows 95, almost 20 years ago, and I soon started playing the first Civilization game, as a 9-year old kid. Didn't understand much of it at first - the game nor the language - but I continued playing, fell in love, and to this day the Civilization franchise remains my favourite games (closely followed by the Paradox games, but still number one) and to me RFC: DoC is the ultimate experience. And it's even getting better day by day. I don't have the words to describe how much I appreciate it. So.. I guess there's not much else to say than: Thank you Leoreth, Thank you Rhye, and Thank you everybody else who's been part of the making of this amazing game experience that we have at hand, including all the users of the community of course.
I hope that someday we'll somehow be able to figure out a way to donate some money to the creators of this, for all the hours you've spent, all the time and energy, and putting up with trolls and whining/demanding forum users
I'd be happy to put the first 100 Euros for sure. But apparently setting up a fair distribution key, that won't lead to chaos, is quite the project.

LOL at the picture, but I couldn't agree more. It goes down to windows 95 for sure, those were the days! I even remember constructing a WW1 scenario for civ2, since the WW2 scenario wasn't enough.baseballpie

Let's make an International Leoreth Day, which is on July 23rd every year. You celebrate this holiday by playing a crapton of DoC. Since we didn't properly celebrate 2 days ago, we'll just celebrate Belated International Leoreth Day today!

Leoreth is a great modder and mod, and he's really nice. DoC and SoI are the only reasons I still play Civ 4 - infact discovering DoC got me back into Civ 4 after a 9 month hiatus.
