LK15 - India, to the end

Just a few things I thought of:

- If we are going to attack the rest of the world (which I personally think we should) we should do it immediately, for a bunch of reasons. First, the AI is way behind on tech, and they are in communism, so all they are going to have is tanks and infantry. We could slaughter them easily. Second, the sooner we attack, the higher our overall score will be!

- If we do attack, I suggest rushing an airport in Moscow, and chaging all our core cities back to units, especially modern armor. WE can then airlift 10-12 units into enemy territory, each turn!

- Also, on nuclear plants, I was thinking that maybe building nuke plants isn't a great idea. I just started building them automatically, but we don't really need them - their primary use is to win a space race, and a meltdown will hurt our score.

Well, this has all victory conditions disabled - not sure what would happen if we took over the world?
 
The only thing that would happen is that we'd get more points because we'd have more territory and happy citizens.

“It means to go and dig stuff idiot, gesss, sometimes I wonder why I have one advisor let alone six of them. Oh and one last thing, the military guy said something about a military academy and also a heroic epic, find out what he was talking about and then do it ok. Now leave me alone I’m gonna have a bubble bath.”

Inherited: I see that we are at war with Japan, and have no transports near their last island. And they wont talk to us. Cologne and Frankfurt switched to settlers and rushed. Former Japanese cities switched to libraries. St. Petersburg switched to settler and rushed.
China cancels their ivory deal with us.

1) 1828 Yet Another Flipper founded.

2) 1830 Nara switched to settler and rushed. Shadowland founded. RoP with China to get a city site before the english do.

3) 1832 Robotics learned, Satellites began. All cities still building wealth switched to manufacturing plant. Shadowville founded.

4) 1834 Yet Another Flipper steals Odessa's uranium. Surrounded founded.

5) 1836 Bomb the japanese capital (Yokohama) down to size 1.

6) 1838 Bomb Nagasaki down to size 2
Japanese destroyer sinks attacking one of our battleships.

7) 1840 Satellites researched, Smart Weapons began. Modern Armor lands on japans last island, Richmond and Nagasaki bombed down to 1 pop each.

8) 1842 Richmond auto-razed. Nagasaki captured, and a great leader emerges. He inspires the citizens to build an airport in 1 turn. And with 12 modern armor sitting outside Japan's last city, they still refuse to talk to us.

9) 1844 Yokohama captured, and the japanese are destroyed. Once more the entire world is at peace.
 
Pre-turn - I checked trading, I dont think I saw a worker offered this late before.
1848 AD - Furs trade from England ends. Liz wont renew.
Begin research on Superconductor.
1850 AD - Yet another flipper works - Odessa joins us.
1852 AD - BITE ME - England and China sign an MPP - Well, I was setup for an blitz of England. :(
1856 AD - Beat You is formed, China loses his chance for a city ;)
1858 AD - Researching Integrated defense :coool:
1860 AD - I'm a man, yes I am, and I like to prove it. I'm a man, yes I am...
War declared on China and England.
Norwich, Hastings, Nuremberg, Eridu, Yakutsk, Konigsberg, Leipzing, Berlin, Paoting, Novogorod, Ur, Kagoshima, Nagoya, Munich fall.
The counter attack isn't to bad - lost a couple of ships by reading, Norwich recpatured, lost and kill some units.
I love it - we get happy days between captured furs, and 10% luxuries.
1862 AD - The second front lands - Reading, Macao fall.
Main front - Nanking, Norwich, Cantebury, Chengdu, Birmingham, Bremen, Anyang fall.
We now have all eight luxuries :)
Kill an English army.
Burn a lot of cash on temple rushing.
England the only one offering any real resitance - he recovers Norwich.
Starting to see war misery - up luxuries to 20%.
1864 AD - Bonn, Tsingato, Conventry, Uruk, Leeds, Liverpool, Norwich (yet again), New Castle, York fall.
We get a leader - Bindusara - what to do with him?

Summary - I wish cultural was enabled - we could have won that way - the only type of win I have not gotten - 100,000 culture.

I only played 5 turns, but they took forever, and I managed to destroy everyone! It's all just upkeep and micromanagement for maximum score now!

No summary - just have fun!

Is there a point in continueing this one?

I lean toward no - I would rather get LK21 going.
 
Got it, well ill just be selling off all the factories and such, no point in speading pollution every where. In fact I'll plant a forest in every sqare available. I love the tree festivle will be celabrated every where.:cool:
 
I wont play until we have a concences, Um yes or no?

Mine would be ney as we have way to long a distance too the end. But you all know my intentions so oh well.
 
at this point it sounds like we could just set all cities to wealth, fortify or sell off all units, set luxuries to 100%, and lets see, 1874 to 1950 is 38 turns, plus another 100 for 1950-2050, so hit enter for 138 turns, they shouldn't take that long between turns, if someone really wanted to do that.:smoke: :smoke: :smoke: I vote for starting another
 
I am ok with stopping, as there really isn't much point. On the other hand, the point of this game was to go to the end, so I think someone (and yes I'll volunteer) should finish the game and post some results, just so we can all see the fruits of our labors.
