But it's more portable and I would think more ideal for home defense as you can just zip it from under your pillow. While sawed off shotguns are ideal, you can't really sleep with one under your pillow. At least have the hand shotgun as a shock weapon then pull the sawed off from under the bed during the initial confusion.
