None Shall Pass [Game Thread - Concluded]

unvote: vote: Kennigit. Choxorn's role seems plausible, especially since the fact that no one would believe it is already a nerf, and this is Zack, who is a source of many creative and unexpected roles. Still, choxorn, I have my eyes on you, and if anyone here is a scanner, they should to

He's been pretty gung-ho pro-StarWars in private.

I don't know if a cultist makes that much racket in such a non-diplomatic way.

A cultist survives by not making the sorts of waves that causes him to die.

I will be honest- Kennigit flipping cultist would surprise the heck out of me.

You sure you're unconvertable? Even Galadriel (which makes absolute sense, you should've said so sooner) was susceptible to the Ring, though if you were convertible, I suppose nearly everyone else would be too.

Either Zack is lying or I'm unconvertible. Probably a game balance thing; it would be stupid if the cult could both get two "Is this person convertible" scans and stop me from making people conversion-immune.

The scanning cultist = death sounds like a good reason not to use your ability, but it's also the only way we know of that can actually successfully scan a cultist. You know, assuming you aren't lying. I'm somewhat inclined to believe you, based on my past experiences with crazy roles in large theme games. I'm gonna sleep on it, then decide in the morning.

I don't die when I scan a cultist, I die when I try to make them unconvertible.

@ Choxorn

We only have your word that you're incorruptible. And your "it would be overpowered if they could convert me" doesn't help us determine whether you were townie to begin with, which is what the second premise (it would be OP if they could convert me) is predicated upon.

You're putting the cart before the horse. They're going to need a much more reasonable argument than that, I feel.

Its precisely those actions which scream scum to me, Cult have the most to gain from rocking the town boat, and Kennigit be rocking it.

So early? To gain the ire of the entire LOTR side?

When the cult is the smallest and most vulnerable?

Look, you're essentially telling me that Kennigit just, flat out, sucks at this game. I'm finding that much hard to believe.

He's not playing the diplomacy game very well, and that's why I feel there's something amiss here.

He probably feels SW town can win if they rally together early and act as a unit.

I don't see a direct correlation with that and being scum.

I do see how it could cause Aragorn to take an early shot at him. Or be lynched by the LOTR town.

I don't see how it makes his game easier for him or improves his odds of winning as cult.

But, I am one vote. By all means prove me incorrect.

I'm still not even voting for choxorn, as a matter of fact.

I'm taking a huge risk he flips cult and it makes me look scummy as hell. That's the risk I'm taking.

I did what I was asked to do, but I still am not completely sure either one of Ken or choxorn is the correct lynch.

I am skeptical of choxorn, but I'm finding it hard to pull the trigger for some reason.

Watch me get lynched instead for having cold feet.

If either one of Ken or choxxy turns out to be cult I'm going to be really mad I didn't just stab them mercilessly and never look back.

I'm afraid my word is all I have to give on this matter. Well, that and maybe that ability scanner of yours.

So let's say you have multiple abilities. How does Zack determine which ability to reveal to an ability scanner?

Wouldn't you suggest he'd choose the most pertinent one?

Wouldn't "prevent people from being converted" be more pertinent than "can scan people as being susceptible to conversion"?

Or is he just throwing dice?

Does Zack play dice with the universe?

What a frightening thought!

Be back after a lengthy nap and work shift in the AM, of all the ridiculous times to be at work.

I don't die when I scan a cultist, I die when I try to make them unconvertible.

huh? Why two? You can only do one "convertibility scan" after all

Remember: cultists are expendable, as long as they aren't the leader. It makes perfect sense for night 1 cultists to do everything to ensure that the two towns fight each other instead of cult-hunting. Hence, while Kennigit is obviously not a cult leader, his actions make sense for a convert

Actually, wait. Neither I, nor Pizza (from the thread) knew if they were corruptible or not. How do you know that you are incorruptible. unvote:Kennigit the militarist can wait, vote:choxorn.

really?

Here's what I tried to do today. Double A publically claimed LOTR town. I am SW town. Double A is likely to be that, but not guaranteed.

have at you networks.

how is a town going to beat a cult if they don't know who half their members are?

huh? Why two? You can only do one "convertibility scan" after all

Well, I would assume that the cult already has some way of determining if someone can be converted or not.

Because I asked Zack for clarification on my abilities and he told me I was unconvertible.
