Verarde is a lurker - he hasn't even bothered to vote today. You're accusing LotR of not scum-hunting, yet "your team" is snapping up a LotR lurker, rather than hunting for your side's cultists. That does not compute.

Well, I think KingMorgan, FrozenInIce and Azzaman (to a lesser extent) have all displayed scummy behaviour, all of whom make much better sense than lynching a lurker, who can (I might add) be easily knocked off by a vigilante at night.

My problem at least is that various suspicions are floating around and one or two people on each side are (apparently arbitrarily) stating that those people are not Mafia. If these people are right each time, that doesn't leave many options, does it? Then again, I wouldn't be overly surprised if those popular and seemingly knowledgeable people turned out to be the cult leaders of each faction.

Can we leave it at that, or are we really going to hand the game to the Cultists and start shooting each other before a single Cultist from any side is found?

It could be Takhisis, I suppose, in as much as I could be the flaming eye itself (I'm not). But that's just a personal opinion from someone who doesn't know an awful lot about what's going on.

BL, I think that azzaman might be a cultist, but I think it's highly unlikely that lurkers are (successful) cultists, if only because a cult requires active players to actually expand.

Two of those people are SW and one is your own LOTR mason guy, as stated in the thread.

Why is cooperation impossible?

I offered three suspects for Palpatine just based off the fact I can either occupy or prove many people are not him thanks to dcmorts role. All set to vig from this group, too.

I don't know what the problem can be.

But if you look at the voting times, azza was not a runaway wagon, nor was he only voted by lotr. When Verarde was made a Star Wars beacon, then Azza became a LOTR beacon.

I have requested in private and I will do so again to the SW vig and roleblockers. Please tell me who you target. This way we don't ruin either of our plans to eliminate the cultists, and we can target the people we actually suspect without stupid party lines coming into play.

Well, you guys should be handling your own affairs and not stepping on us. Likewise, our roles won't be stepping on you, assuming my information on who's who and what faction is accurate (I believe it is). I think compartmentalization is necessary at this stage, I don't need to know what you're doing and vice-versa. We keep on our sides, we'll have no issues.

Well, if it helps, I don't think that Nintz is a cultist. I still don't know half the (claimed) faction identities of the various players, but I don't think that SamSniped has a very strong role (if what Tommy posted is at all reliable) and if Visorslash is Sauron, LotR town is probably severely buggered.
