None Shall Pass [Game Thread - Concluded]

Aaaaand there goes my mason partner.

Thanks a lot guys.

Anyways, abstain for now. I really can't see an clear cases as of yet.

Any counterclaims to Chewbacca or Frodo? This looks slightly fake to me, given that both of tonight's targets were mentioned as suspects yesterday, yet you were silent then. unvote: vote: Buddhafish

New rules:

1) When it's day three, and there's a star wars theme, and one of the doodz who just died was Han Solo (a towneh), and the other dood says that Han Solo was his mason partner, and given that Han Solo doesn't go anywhere without his furry friend Chewbacca, one might assume the fallen role was actually a mason (makes sense), and the guy who claims Han Solo as his mason partner unprompted on day three is likely his mason partner. At least, we can trust that enough to not lynch him immediately, which would be a Bad Thing.

2) Can we not have masons lurk like they're scumbags who have something to hide? Masons are of zero value unless they try to like, lead the town somewhere.

Here's my issue with Autolycus right now.

I like Autolycus. I think he's a good man. I've also been scum with Autolycus. And when I was scum with Autolycus, he would basically wait for town to find other targets. He's not very vigorous in his defense of himself. Or, indeed, his prosecution of potential scumbags.

Scummy you have become, Autolysis. The dark side I sense in you.

This guy is Palpatine or Sauron. I can't tell which until you lynch him today.

It's like you ready my thoughts or at least you been talking to the same people I have. He makes my senses tingle but then again, he has acted the same in all 3 games in the last month.

I can understand why you feel that way, atpg. Especially in larger games, for the first couple days, I find it hard to get off the ground in terms of analysis. If you look at both Pratia II and create your own hero over on the .org, I think you'll see that in recent games, I give more analysis as the game goes on. Granted, I do that whether I'm scum or not, but my behavior here is not much different from my behavior in Sprig's game either.

All that being said, I'm going to unvote; vote:nintz Skimming back through yesterday's proceedings, his unvote to sit back and watch strike me as scummy.

Nintz is in the BSmith and Buddhafish category.

He's not getting lynched today, try again.

You have reason to believe that's a bad vote, askthedictatorguy? Well, the only other person in the last 16 pages who tripped my scumdar in any significant way was unvote; vote:azzaman.

Why are you even trusting my word on Nintz? Suppose I am scum, do you really make it this easy for me to manipulate you? Why aren't you challenging me on anything?

What's going on Autolysis Man. Help me follow your brainwave. Reveal to me your thought pattern.

Who are you, what are you doing, why are you doing it, why are these people even on your suspects list?

Also, excellent timing on my new signature. It's become relevant for different reasons.

Why am I trusting your word on Nintz? Because I don't feel like I'm getting strong enough vibes from anyone to choose to ignore your vouching for someone. If in a day or two, Nintz's behavior continues to be scummy in my opinion, I'll come back after both of you with a stronger case.

You seem to want to take a leadership role for us at the moment, and you are an impressive player. That means I will let you lead, and call for your head if you don't bring us success shortly.

I told you why Nintz pings my scumdar. As for azzaman, it feels to me like he's writing in about 3 different styles, "spammy", "mechanics analysis", and "helpful town". Most people when they're honest only speak in two. So, given the choice between taking another ping out into the sea of silence or putting a vote on him, which sets up an interesting triangle of voting dynamic as well (samsniped, me, azzaman) that could give some nice analysis opportunities down the line if people show up and get involved, voting him seems more fun.

Yeah, I tend to agree. His lazy vote with a sly dig at the one that suggested it smells like he is trying to play both sides of the fence. vote: SamSniped

I'm not convinced by KingMorgan's innocence, but it's not a very coherent thought.

I do agree that Buddha is likely a mason, but I feel as though he could've been either SW or LOTR town. I was curious about which, but upon reflection I think he shouldn't tell us. I'd think the cults would have to recruit from their own theme, so having that information out in public just means a free conversion. Either way, unless Buddha has some sort of protection from conversion I doubt that he could avoid being recruited in the near future.

Hm. Well, I am here, and have been reading the posts. I'm not entirely sure what to do in this situation though. It appears to me that the most active players do not necessarily trust each other as being town. Yet, at the same time, there are many players that seem semi-lurker. Enough to still be in the game, but not enough to make a meaningful impact. This could be due to the volume of posts and content this game is throwing at them. Tough to say.

That said, neither cult had a night murder tonight (I assume Anakin would be SW vig, as that makes more sense than Palp from a character/lore perspective). I would guess that they probably tried to convert some people, unless they themselves were inactive. We should try to find out which one.

I don't like any of the candidates I've seen thus far though. I don't feel we know enough to safely lynch anyone, though ending without a clear lynch candidate is often worse than not.

TALLY:

Unless the number of people under "Not Voting" decreases to at least 5, I will extend the Day for another 24 hours.

Still not sure what to do, but I just realized something about town symmetry: there has only been one message per night. Unless Zack is posting them personally, that indicates that either there is only one poster, or the posters are restricted in when they can post in different ways. In either case, the messages indicate town asymmetry
