NotW XLI: Chronomancy Redux [Game Thread]

Read, Mr. civplayah 2.0. It says 'Afternoon One' And then 'it is now Afternoon Two'.

So… +5 Strength bonus for correcting the GM? :mischief:

What's with all this voting, are we electing a mayor? I nominate myself!

Okay, Autolycus, and I'll vote you for so kindly stepping forward to the nomination.

Friday night is my drinking night, so always expect updates to be late on fridays :)

NotW XLI: Night One - [PHASE 3]

No consensus was provided that day at the town square, and although many were in favor of lynching the summoner, no real decision was made that satisfied enough of the public. Clearly, after only one death, the town did not quite realize the dire straights they were in, and settled down to a normal night's sleep - whatever may await them then, they would find out in the morn'.

It is now NIGHT ONE

NotW XLI: Morning Two - [PHASE 4]

The town and its visitors gathered that morning to take a head count, a stifling silence in the air as the Innkeeper rallied off names. Although the count started optimistically, there soon was a gaping silence when the Earth Mage Kennigit's name was called. A group of the braver citizens ventured up to the Mage's room in the Inn, and soon a grisly scene awaited them. Splattered over the walls were entrails of the lower half of her body, while the upper lay in a terrifying pentagram sketched in the dead woman's blood. Her eyes were without color, a strange and cold greyscale staring blankly into space, as if she had died without a thought in her mind.

A simple search of her belongings revealed that
Spoiler :
Kennigit, the Earth Mage, was Innocent!

On her head was a Gold Circlet, and by her side a battered Stone Shield. They would be voted on.

As the citizens looked each other over after hearing the news, they knew that this was indeed serious and they would have to lynch someone if they were to survive.

(NOTE: I accidentally titled all night result PMs "Night 2", when in fact it was night 1. Please disregard these titles! Thanks!)

It is now MORNING TWO

23 Hours Until Afternoon Phase!

Hey Hey! Hey guys!
That stone shield sure has caught my eye
I could use a thing like this
If you give it to me you'll earn a kiss
I'm not afraid of being attacked
Trust me boys, I will strike back
But it would be nice to escape unharmed
Through show of strength and force of arms
My armor could use another layer
So do me a favor and skin civplayah
I don't trust that man, for reasons naught
Would be such a treat if the demon was caught

S-P-I-R-I-T
civplayah don't got no more than me
Hey Hey
S-P-I-R-I-T
Let's kill those 'mancers 1-2-3

That Gold Circlet would sit nicely on the head of General Olaf.

The Spirit Mage askthepizzaguy can have the shield, but I think that circlet reminds me of the one my mother wore.

I am an inkeeper, but I had spent some time in Hippus army. I am profficient with weapons and shields. I will make a good use of stone shield.

Don't summoners use blood pentagrams and living sacrifices, Seon?

If I might have the Gold Circlet.

I would be happy enough to see askthepizzaguy with the Stone Shield

Now, mister Abbadon, you claim to be a worker, and yet you were not up in time for work this morning. Something tire you out last night?

All this chanting early in the morning is getting quite obnoxious, AskthePizzaGuy. Do normal, innocent men start their day with drones, have breakfast milkshakes of warm blood, and sketch pentagrams in their free time?! I THINK NOT!!

BSmith may have the shield, and I would like the circlet. I will publicly post what it does after I receive it tonight.

Fellow dwarven friends, I could really use that golden circlet. However, I really think that the shield would make better use of my skills.

Weakling BSmith should have the shield, so he won't have to rely on others to defend him. The Circlet would look good on robbiecon, I'm curious what a desert guide would want with such a thing General Olaf?

Her long, silken hair blowing gently in the morning breeze, the Noble turns to the Tanner, the Engineer and the Desert Guide giving each an expression somewhere between pity and contempt.

Now, now, little commoners. Don't squabble over the pretty, shiny thing. Such items are best kept in the hands of those who can properly appreciate them. Like me.

She then notices the Countess making her own claim to the circlet, and laughs.

With your complexion? Oh dear me, no.
