Today, Warpus and Hobbsyoyo will be squaring off over the subject:

Should more money be spent by NASA on space exploration in this age of economic austerity and tight budgets? Could the money be spent better elsewhere? Space exploration in this case can refer to any NASA project, whether in space or not.

Warpus will take the negative, Hobbsyoyo the affirmative.

Tune in for a great debate, and let's hope this experiment plays out to our liking!

May I ask where is the thread to propose topics? Because only 3 topics... also, there could be debates on cultural subjects, history, and just about everything, and these three options are so limited and are all about US politics or policy.

The problem with topic 1 is that I'm willing to take the liberal side, and Cheezy the conservative side, but Cheezy only wants to debate a conservative who will take the liberal side. And I'm not really interested in the rules that warpus and hobbsyoyo are playing by.

Hey yall. I am taking a break from the forum, but I've been sticking around to see the results from the voting in the peanut gallery thread. I don't care if I win or lose, I just want to know that everything Warpus and I did to get the debate off the ground wasn't for naught.
