And under Victoria that England/Britain had its greatest power, yet in the game it is reffered to as England, not Britain.
I would not consider that spam, as it is creative and constructive writing in here, as well as intelligent and local views on a discussion regarding Ottomans/Turkey.
I would consider this spam.
That's what we get for trusting France and Britain, we had to backstab our culture and religion brothers for the "superior Arab nationalism". And then we got backstabbed ourselves by France who wanted to make an Algeria out of the Lebanese and the Syrians, and Great Britain brought us lovely Israel. If you get backstabbed, you would probably not like the backstabber.Arabs did it twice.(First Lawrence thing, second the Kurd Sheik revolt supported by Arabs, and this Revolt costed Turkey actually Mousul. The Oil too )
Arabs did not followed the Sultans Call(Caliph) for Jihad.
About the Arab Nationalist Pride in Turkey;I am not a nationalist and not an easterner too.I cant say something about the Arabic origin pride. But we have schools with the primary foreign language Arabic. We dont dislike Arabs.Almost the half of our women wears Turban.Arabic culture is not died here.

Mehmet II or "MUHAMED AL FATEH" is considered a legendary hero amongst us, you know because the Prophet foretold the conquering of Constantinople and called the Conquering leader the best of the best. All that was almost 500 years before the event. And Hagia Sophias minaretts dont look good.
Surprisingly, I agree with you on this one, I also wish the could turn those Cordoba Churches that used to be Mosques into Museum. Maybe peace between religions will foment if Christians and Muslims respected each others more.Turning into a museum not a bad thing.
I guess I should be paying another visit to Istanbul, the reason why I play Civ games is because I admire Culture, whether it's foreign or local (In this case it's localWe have an enourmous number by building Mosques after all.Fatih Mosque(Tomb of Mehmet 2 and Justinians too are there),Süleymaniye Mosque(Tomb of Suleiman is there) are much greater temples than Hagia Sophia.

Heh since you have lead us Lebanese for a long time (Not occupied). We do still retain some Turkish words that we use in our daily basis without most of us realizing their true origin. Such as the word room, I was wondering why the whole word seem to change when studying official Arabic from local dialect.

Sun Yat-Sen is a better choice than Chiang Kai Shek as Sun yat-sen is revered by both the guomindang and the CCP. If you put Chiang in it, the game might not sell in China...
It's not like the game sells in China anyway. Every copy I looked at was pirated. :<
And since when should anyone care for what the CCP think?
man that statement is short sighted. I would guess that the chinese care.
