Aye that's sad.

I use Ting (Canadian?) and have a single sim good anywhere. My Canadian phone provider may have just made it immensely difficult to travel, right after I invested in a US SIM. I should have just invested in a North American SIM and done away with this two-SIM idea.

I'm reading a historical fantasy series set in Arthurian Britain by Jack Whyte and although the books are pretty good, the author cannot write sex scenes to save his life. Way too much emphasis on the fluids.
If that is what straight sex is like, I'm glad I'll never have to deal with that!

I thought that Ting was a Canadian company. We didn't have any trouble getting them to transfer our US numbers. It has roaming in Canada, so it's at least an option. I doubt I can transfer my number, though, to a US provider.
Well, I could transfer my US number, maybe, and I guess switch to using an American number for everything. Not sure how much of a winning strategy that'd be. Meh.
Maybe I should just bite the bullet and get with one of the oligarchs. They tend to have roaming in the US.
God I suck at gift wrapping. Doesn't matter how many tutorials I watch.
I cannot gift wrap to save my soul. My latest ploy is to say, "Let's go shopping for your gift. You point it out; I'll pay for it."I'm sure that's true. One tutorial should tell you everything there is to know. After that it's just practice. Unfortunately, it's one of those things where nothing can substitute for practice so the only way to get good at it is just doing it a lot.

Ah, Tak the Clavellian.I am quite sure that this isn't Arthurian Britain, so… more for us then.
But, if you ever read King Rat by James Clavell, you'll find a statement by a doctor there to the effect that the ickiness of coitus does not depend on the gender of the participants (you'd better read the book, it's worth it).
I officially feel old now. Came across a video on YouTube about restoring old game consoles. It referred to the original Xbox as a retro console. Things that were around when I was a teenager are now being called "retro". Stop the ride, I want to get off.
