woah dude
I was a bit disappointed with the BBC on how they reported it. After reading the article I realized it was the WHO saying "Scientists have proof that bears crap in woods". We already knew that large amounts of processed food isn't good for you, and large amounts of red meat isn't particularly grand for you either.Rant: I really am sick of the mainstream media. I've been seeing this story about the WHO warning people about meat everywhere so I looked into it and it's seriously nothing. They found an 18% increase in colorectal cancer, which is already rare, according to the CDC less than 50 people per 100,000 in the US, which means that even with meat consumption it goes up to... 59 people per 100,000. That's basically nothing in a statistical sense, and yet so many websites are hyping this up like it's the next great health crisis. **** the media, I was able to find this out in 5 minutes using Google and the CDC's easy to read graphs and information, is there no such thing as basic research among journalists anymore?
If you liked it it wouldn't be a rants thread![]()
That looks suspiciously similar to the scisors I used in the election yesterday. Have you been following me?There you is.

Now. Be careful you don't run while holding them. That's a dangerous practice, as you must surely know.
Yet another problem that can be solved by eating chocolate.Agreed. This thread is just too vanilla!![]()
Or we could be angry at liking something we shouldn't.If you liked it it wouldn't be a rants thread![]()
Purely from a aesthetic point of view, Joan speaks the truth. The right glasses can look better than no glasses.I'm sad that the old thread is dead.
Also that people hate on glasses. You haven't met the right ones for you yet.
