The idea that right wing extremism is commonplace in the US simply has no founding

You're completely delusional, I wonder why anyone even bother to reply to you at this point.

Forgive the stupid question, but I'm not a structural engineer and am wondering how big a deal adding quick-drying to cement to milkshakes actually is. I would guess this maybe wouldn't have much of an effect other than making your clothes perhaps permanently ruined rather than temporarily, but it can't really be that harmful can it? At worst it will leave you with a very thin dry crust on you which will just flake off pretty easily. I guess if it goes in your eyes that could potentially be bad, but I would guess it doesn't dry THAT quickly, and wouldn't be any worse than getting mud in your eyes or something. Your eyes will water and wash it out pretty quick, and maybe you might have a few flaky bits in there the have to blink out or wash out later, but...

Maybe completely wrong about that, but it just feels like it wouldn't be particularly dangerous. Unless you drink it of course...

In Commodores mind staining someone's shirt and running over peaceful protesters or murdering transsexuals are equal in cruelty, it's best not to ask. Convervative fearmongering is getting more insane every day, from Pizza Gate to this. it's like a bad comedy routine at this point, you couldn't make it up.

How do you even know that?

people have used sugar to ruin concrete before. I think it's a common prank/sabotage. also it takes just one google search:

Another suggests that the sugar reacts with aluminium and calcium in the cement to make insoluble complexes. ... The more sugar you mix in, the longer the concrete takes to set, and if the sugarconcentration exceeds 1% of the cement mixture it will refuse to harden altogether.

Could we please stop discussing USian political lunacy and get back onto debunking Snerk's silly notions? The man thinks that tanks farting is the same as them pooping.

Cause I saw this exact same argument on reddit earlier this week and one of the commenters mentioned that sugar does that to cement.

How long have short term and long term bond yields been backwards? I'm not a guru, badly understanding only "OG" tools of modern finance as it once was put, but if the first sentence is not in error, something is deeply ****y.
This link shows the positive vs negative yield curve since 2006. Scroll down.

Nothing to worry about yet. Much of the negativity in yields is because $12 trillion of sovereign debt around the world has a negative yield. All the other pre recession indicators are still looking good. But then there is Trump.

:scan: How does sovereign debt get to have negative yields?

The real value of it drops over time.

Now you ask, why would people invest in that? Because they may be facing the choice of investing in something which will drop in value a little bit, or a lot. So they choose the little. Because it minimizes losses.

Well, yes, I know that people in places such as here prefer to invest in US dollars because the internal inflation of the US is about one thirtieth of that in the local currency, but how does that work with bonds and similar instruments?

It's the intent that's the issue. It shows that these protestors are showing a willingness to escalate from simply being a disruption to actively trying to harm people. And the person they attacked wasn't even one of the counterprotestors, it was a journalist that was just trying to do his job. But because these little Antifa terrorists didn't want to be caught on camera doing terrorist things, they felt it was okay to assault him.

I was just questioning the efficacy of adding quick-drying cement to milkshake.

Rant: I wanted to find out what song the radio was playing, but their website broke down and is only displaying the songs they played 12 hours ago.

Also it's far far too warm here. I'm having trouble not overheating.

Commodore has also called a seven-year-old girl who insisted on sleeping in her parents' bed ‘a terrorist’, so I'm not sure how seriously I ought to take him.
