Rant: Curse these essays!

Our boss told us today that about 4 persons have to get out of the project due to a cut in the budget, so if the company does not find more customers this persons will be fired

Stupid Sandy knocked out my power!

I had to endure my Geography professor totaly butchering Russian history and Communist theory in class today.

And I have to endure my history professor claiming that the Romans in the days of Marius had to fight "Germans" in northern Greece, who apparently were mentally ******** stone-age swamp barbarians. None of this is actually true.

Hmmm. Since the US has its 'north' somewhere on the Rocky Mountains, then if we apply the same skewed compass to Europe, Gaul might be to the 'north' of Greece. And the Helvetians came from somewhere where they now speak German, and… *brainasplode*

On a similar line of fail, the same prof said that the geographic area Poland now occupies was ruled by the Romans because they are Catholic. I think he must have gotten the Roman Empire and the HRE mixed up.

I thought that my history teacher liking Jared Diamond, thinking that Zheng He reached America and placing Ceuta wrong on a map (even after I corrected him) was bad. :cringe:

I got an F in chemistry....I have no idea how.

Would you rather have got some Al instead?

And, at the same time, so modern too. Some things just never go out of fashion.

On the contrary, fashion was a big driver of the economy of the early modern period.

That's an F for Fantastic, I'm sure. While an A stands for Awful. This is well known. These teachers know nothing. Some of them can't even read.
The scale should read
↑Fantastic
|Excellent
|Damn good
|Crappy
|Boring
|Awful
And it'd work.

Ahh that awkward moment when the student knows what he is being taught is wrong.
