My home PC which I use for games won't connect to the wireless router, and I have no idea why 
My laptop, which I am typing on now, and is right next to the PC, does connect, most of the time.
Steam won't start because it thinks it needs to update itself (how it knows that without an internet connection I have no idea). So apart from anything else I can't play Civ 5. Though that could either be a rant or a rave. It has come a long way from the turd that was originally released, but I still have mixed feelings towards it.
Edit: also lately on CFC the smilies appear to have an invisible box around them that chops off the edges. They didn't used to look like this. Is anyone else seeing this or is it just me?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Plus, google's search engine is even worse. But then again all search engines suck. Not one of them ever find what one is looking for.

I appreciate that you find them unsatisfactory, I just believe "All search engines suck, you never find what you're looking for" is a tad strong.
They're surely not even close to that bad. In my experience maybe 1 in 100 searches draws a blank.
