Yes, unusual German. Free time is also not that much fun for me in Germany.


At least one of my floormates (the most important one) came back earlier, disappointed that she didn't feel anything. Can't say that I feel bad about that ^^.

My laptop is being held together by duct tape and goodwill and it took me an hour and a half of fiddling with dangerous looking wires before it deigned to considering turning itself on this morning.

I'm loathe to get a new laptop though because a) I'm cheap b) I've got the software and settings exactly how I want it, and c) once it's on functionally it's fine, I mean, besides it's overall rickety nature and the need to plug it directly into the modem to connect to the internet

Of course that's just temporary. Once you arrive in Montevideo, you arrange your crossing over the Brazilian border with WIM, then get some international smugglers/drug dealers to take you to Cabo Verde, where I will have brought my uncle's yacht. Then we'll sail back into the Mediterranean and you can hitchhike your way through France and England to Scotland.

Just drop by my place early on and I'll give you a thorough briefing on what to do and not to do, which is really a big 'stay out of politics'. You'll be fine.
