Physical examination, vaccination, urinalysis, blood test, TB test, & wart removal today. I'm just gettin' started.

...unless she has no idea what the Holocaust was, any idea of what Hiroshima/Nagasaki mean, didn't know that the Russians were on our side during WW2...

Cleric said it was Medieval European history.

 I actually test all my potential girlfriends with some of these questions. You know, just as general anti-airhead test. She passed it of course, but she failed her History class in school and has to go on a redo in the summer.

Not everyone might know about this: but NYC recently decided to remember the five million non-Jews that also died in the holocaust with a stone tablet in New York City's public holocaust memorial park. The Jewish local population is complaining that the holocaust is a distinctly Jewish tragedy and the others shouldn't be mentioned.

Really, guys? Really? Jews have a nasty stereotype for being selfish and only caring about themselves. Those people complaining about this move to remember the "mentally disabled," homosexuals, and non-traditional Christians being also killed are just plain not helping. All of it is just slightly annoying.

That ticks me off.

I was relaxing after getting some exercise, listening to music and eating some pop-tarts and now I realize they had gone bad.

Dude... pop tarts take a long, long time to go bad.

Hmm. A number of posters in this forum might have difficulty with that particular test...

Yep. Has scary implications for the low frequency of his Pop-Tart ingestion.
Yeah Rak, step your game up.

Ironically, a number of posters on this forum might have difficulty expressing their superciliousness.

These weren't very old, but I had kept them next to my computer (i.e. warm place). There probably was a leak somewhere in the foil bag. It ruined my appetite so I just threw rest of the box away with four tarts even though they might have been good (there's 2 pop-tarts in every foil bag). :(

I wanna rep you for using the word "superciliousness" because it's one of my favorite words but I can't because this forum doesn't allow it. :undecide:

Rant: A group of guys who speak Spanish apparently made some rather... lewd comments about me at work tonight. Right in front of me, thus flaunting their disregard for decency and my complete ignorance of foreign languages.

Rave: I had no idea what was being said while it was happening so I avoided showing them how embarrassing I found the situation. Oh, and my co-worker, who is also female and speaks Spanish, let them know that she understood every word they said.

Rant: She told me what they said. I don't know whether to be flattered or insulted, but I'm leaning very strongly towards insulted.

Rant: The guys came back in later and bought more beer.

Rave: They spoke English that time, and they gave me a four dollar tip just for ringing them out.

Rant: It definitely feels like dirty money.

Sorry; I can't make up my mind as to whether I find this story funny or creepy. I figured rants was the way to go...

I really should have started on my Hydraulics lab report sooner. It is due tomorrow, I'm less than half done, and I think I'm too tired to get anything more accomplished. I think I'll just have to hope I can convince the TA to accept it late. The syllabus doesn't say anything about whether they'll take it late or how much that would count off, but if I miss a single lab or fail to turn in a single report that is an automatic F in the class (or, more likely at this point, a good reason to withdraw and take a W). (Each lab isn't worth that much, but it seems all the CEE lab classes have the annoying policy of making you automatically fail if you don't turn in ever lab, even if your numerical grade would normally be considered an A even with a 0 on the lab.)
