We got snow in Minnesota this morning. It is all melted by now.

One time where I live it once snowed in July. Just a little bit though.

It snowed once in July four years ago here.

I don't get it. In my religion exam I got back this week, my professor underlined a part of one of my essay responses and put a question mark over it.

I wrote about Mahayana Buddhism (the Pure Land sect more specifically) and the Amitabha buddha. I wrote that the Amitabha buddha was among the upper echelons of bodhisattvas. He underlined the portion of the sentence that had the word 'echelon' in it. I feel like I used the word correctly, but apparently he doesn't know what it means.

There were a few other parts of the essays I found similar things being underlined. Either I am a lot worse writer than I believed, or he doesn't know how to pick up a dictionary. Either way, that's a rant.

Father Winter is a persistent cur.

The only thing I can see wrong with echelon is that it has quite a military context. BUt then I'm not EMT, why don't you ask him directly?

Maybe he thinks that Echelon only applies to military-stuff:

I honestly wouldn't use echelon there. More like tiers, although that word doesn't really work right either. The word echelon has more military or organizational connotations; one can't really describe bodhisattvas as being organized in the way one would think when one employs that word.

There are precious few sounds worse than someone who can't sing insisting on doing to anyways. 4 hours of my mother singing Madonna and Bob Sager in her off tone voice made me want to rip my hair out.

Also, there was a tornado in my city and now there's debris all in my yard. That's not that much of a rant, though, because some people died in the same tornado in my city, so at least I didn't die.

Not as bad when I was travelling from Atlanta to Tallahassee with my mother and we were stuck in traffic jams the whole way through, and the radio was playing a Bruce Springsteen marathon.

I was wondering if my luck might be better out with the rednecks then in the car.

Rebecca Black and Justin Beiber may or may not become a duet.

The image and your title don't match.
Black wanting to duet with Beiber does not mean Bieber wants to duet with her.

Lets try and have better reporting skills then Fox News people!

Bieber probably already gets to do it with some many chicks, what makes Becky Black so special?

She is probably the only teen singer who gets more hate than Bieber. Together they would probably be the death of music.
