Wow , I'm blown away by that. Interesting to see how you guys have taken so readily to unfettered capitalism. Is there resentment to this? Or is the unemployment situation so dire that it is just accepted?I'm surprised that organized labour would appear to be so powerless in a former communist country

The news says that unemployment rates are low (7.5%), but from experience i can tell you it's much worse than that for college graduates and young people in general.
There is no resentment to these kinds of policies among us younger employees. 40+ older people (i.e. communists) that work in the private sector are outraged by things like this, but they are free to quit their job and make room for others.
It won't be long until the communist generation dies. But we don't blame them for being this dumb; 40 years of communism does this to people - it makes them think working for your money is strange.

I find it irritating that I start preparing for bed at 3:30 am, take my meds, and a shower. Yet, when I emerge, it's 4:15 am already. It's irritating because before this started happening, I'd start preparing for bed at 3:30, take my meds, and the shower, and emerge from the shower at 3:50.

And NOT ONE THING HAS CHANGED in my routine.
