Random Raves 11: It's getting better all the tiiiiiiiiiiiiiime!

We just got out cat back from the vet, after getting her fixed and t was great fun watching her trying to get rid of the cone over her head. She managed to get it off, but we got it back on. Since she is not used to it, she keeps banging into stuff and that is quite funny.

Aww :(

Anyhoo, I am genuinely happy that school is almost out :D

Anyways, to reassert my position in a less spammy way, I am in some ways sad that school is ending. It's really cushy here. I don't have class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and I have great internet here, and plenty of free time during which to use it. Additionally, I love classes here, particularly when I'm enrolled in history classes.

When I go home, I'm going to have to actually get a job, I'll have crappy internet, and a crappy computer, so computer games are going to be rather moot. In other words, I love college.

Rave: I finished my first of two finals, and turned in my last essay of the quarter. All I have left is an essay the monday after next, meaning I'm in sort of a limbo where the material has all been taught, and I'm waiting to take that final final so I can go home, meaning I have absolutely nothing to do for the next week and a half.

It's been a good week on a variety of levels. :)

Wait, what happened?

Yared said School was ending soon, and there were 5 consecutive posts all quoting it and saying this...albeit with different smilies.

I got moved back to 1st shift at work instead of 2nd. More time at home with Mrs. Martacus, and I might actually be able to get some housework done in a timely fashion again. I hope the situation lasts for a while.

Today is my last day of teaching. I think that is all that needs to be said there.

could you elaborate i dont get it

First day of Summer, baby.

Now let's hope the internet stops its trend of cutting out...

I shall now have until Spring Semester to relish my freedom from K-12.

I obtained about $3000 from unclaimed government student grants.

I just opened my Scottrade account with a deposit of 500 dollars, but that's not including the discovery that:

1. I had an extra 50 dollars in my bank account, 550.
2. My mom owes me 199 dollars, so I'll round that to 750.
3. I have 100 dollars in cash and change, so 850.
4. My comics, if sold at a good profit margin, could make around 1600 dollars, so 2450.

So. Yayyyy. I actually have quite a bit of money despite never working! :goodjob:

My brother's surgery went well. IIRC, hey were able to remove the whole lump, but that included his whole lymph node, and the doctor said it didn't look like anything to worry about, but they will run tests, and the results will come in next week.

IE8 is a nice improvement from IE7

I also fixed a minecraft error so now I can play again :)
