But if you were just Jewish, and by that I mean not Jewish-American and implying you weren't in America, you wouldn't even have the stereotype in the first place.

Not sure about that. The West in general has a terrible stereotype of Jews involved with money. If I were to describe myself as Jewish, without the American part, it still applies.

Now I'm not sure how far the Indian stereotype goes. I'd leave that up to jackelgull or another Indian to say whether or not its just an American thing. However, I still believe in my previous sentiment!

Having hung out with him in person, I can confirm he has a magnificent Jew-fro that I am only beginning to approach, but I don't see why he'd complain about it.

They've apparently conditioned us well at uni. I had an exam today worth 100% of the grade for the class. The teacher was the only invigilator, and soon after we started he got up and left, not returning for about an hour and a half. And no-one made a sound, much less cheated (though it was open book, so the opportunity's kinda diminished anyway).

Actually, we posted pics of each other in the Member Photos thread about a year ago. And there was one with hobbs several months before that. Would require some digging, though...
