Rave for the age of simple numeric clarity! Take heed, verbose occluders of meaning, and tremble!

SPECTRE was far better than critics would have you believe!

Unless you think you'll ever see Bond taking care of M's cat instead of subtly threatening Q's to get his way. That's just moronic.

Well technically it was Taillesskangaru who made the decision and Taillesskangaru is indeed no longer here. :mischief:

I did come up with a story for this, actually. The kangaroo was at Maralinga, the tail got cancerous and had to be amputated.

I am glad that I now have another person to destroy when I conquer the world.
As his successor, you are liable to any outstanding claims against the reputedly august personage of taillesskangaru as was. Unless you wish to waive all claims to said august personage, including but not limited to his coolness and his poscount.

I should try this when the rain clears. I am training for a 10k with my brother in December, so I have been focusing more on distance than speed. But I think I could hold a sub-10 pace for 3.1 miles and get close to it.

Back in the day when I did my first registered race, it was a 5k and I came in around 25 minutes. I got better then a whole lot worse since then.

This travesty must be purged for the good of the human race.

    That's horrible.

Moderator Action: Illegitimate raves thread closed. This may have been contributed to by the terrible title and lack of thread icon.

Post #1000 of the last thread was Antilogic's.

Moderator Action: It was pointed out to me that Antilogic was the OP of the last raves thread, and is thus ineligible to create this one. So #999 gets it, and that is Lohrenswald. I've edited in a thread icon, but a title is still needed for this to be a proper raves thread - PM me within 24 hours and I'll edit it in and re-open the thread. Otherwise, a new thread can be opened by #998, Takhisis, or 24 hours after that, the next poster back, jackelgull.

(The rants thread can stay as it is, as its bare design has a little poetic justification)

Yay, it has a title now. It's not a great one, but it's a title!

TIL that shoe insoles can be detached quite easily. This meant that I did not have to leave my black dress shoes at the shop for repairs. It was a simple matter of getting new insoles and throwing out the old ones.

I've played precisely one-and-a-bit games of Civilisation V and it didn't involve being defeated. :)
