The new Superchunk album I Hate Music is out and it's two tracks I have heard are great -- long worth the wait. Now I will have a really special present for the GF, who also loves them. (And they are from her home town, which helps).

Spent all day researching propulsion tanks and working in the lab yesterday. We thought we made some real progress and were very excited. Then we asked for a reality check and every.single.thing was wrong. But you know what? I still had a blast!

It's such a sea change to move from the classroom to doing actual engineering and I'm having a blast even if I'm wrong 99% of the time.
