I'm sitting on one and looking at the sea just now, past midnight, and its so beautiful, and there is the softest breeze, and I just want to run into the sea and play in it, but I qont because of these people fishing either side of me. After 4 days of fiddling with my computer and program settings, I finally managed to get Telltale Games' The Walking Dead to run.

All I had to do was change the name of the .exe file.

It's great waking up at 6 AM on the last corner of a corridor on the ship after less than 3 hours of sleeping like a hobo, packed with three friends on that place just to keep ourselves warm in spite of the air conditioning. I dont know why or how that could possibly ever be a rave, but it is.

Rave: Just got to see a screening of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers at Ravinia Festival, with the score being played live as the movie played by the Chicago Symphony orchestra behind the screen. It was fantastic.

Tonight, I was able to see a nova with my own eyes for the first time in my life. I even did it in spite of nearby light pollution, both lunar *and* man-made, and outdated eyeglasses.

(It was a faint fuzzy white/silver-ish dot, but I saw it. )
