Enjoy your -30 degree Sunday wind chill Toronto. Meanwhile, I'll be on the Gulf Coast basking at a balmy 12 degrees.

It's a nice sunny 85°F/30°C where I am right now. A tad bit warm for my tastes, but better than... other places.

If there's humidity then that's terrible.

Yes, actually. It's called "having lived in a country in the ITCZ".

IMO, until you don't reach 40ºC. It isn't very hot. (Of course I'm saying that because in Summer, 36ºC in my city are easily reachable. More than 38ºC it's not usual but it can happen.) But it's true, humidity is horrible. I'd rather stay in my city with my 38ºC and nearly non existent humidity than 33ºC but 80% humidity.

BTW, I passed all my exams, I'm happy :) because I wasn't enjoying so much those subjects and I found them very boring. This new semester seems much better. New subjects are biostatistics, biochemistry, molecular biology and physiology. I like all of them except the last one which I find not as much enjoyable as the other ones but passable. Oh, I'm studying Biomedical Sciences. (Medical Research)

+30 degree Sundays, for us summerlanders.

You don't need to practice medicine to be a doctor. ;)

You can become a better paid specialist doctor by studying human biology or a specialized biology degree like genetics / neurology / immunology, so long as you get a first pass.

- First degree in such a subject
- Enter NHS clinical science training, 4 year course with a funded part time masters
- Qualified to work as a clinical scientist
- Few years experience at that followed by a PHD =
- Specialist NHS consultant / doctor in your area and high wage.

Though this probably takes longer than a medicine degree.

Oh, and that.

come back to me when you've experienced 100F and humidity.

I've been to St. Louis in the summer a few times, which is basically 100F and infinite humidity, with a nice side of LOOK AT ALL THESE MOSQUITOES

0/10, would not wish on worst enemy

I *live* here. Summers vary between surprisingly pleasant to exactly what you described.

Let's be honest though, summers here are almost always exactly what he described.

This past summer was an unusual exception (and really nice after that extreme winter we had last year).

Rave: Today should be a lot of fun.

Good luck :goodjob:.

The most fun for me this weekend is probably already over, and included hugging a beautiful girl for quite some time and having my hands wrapped around her belly.
Nothing more though, and I really don't like her that much, but hey, still nice.
