NickyJ and madviking together barely have as many posts as I do, and they and me added come close to classical. Neat.

I think I have over 10,000 but I can't be bothered to shift my eyes enough to check :p

Takhisis has OVER 9000!!!!!

I'm making my way to 900, but when this thread closes, and Rants closes, my count will dip quickly.

Did over 1,100 points in an X-COM UFO: Enemy Unknown alien base raid. Floaters and Reapers, what a defense. I still lost one guy out of eight, but what the heck.

Pretty much narrowed my college choice to two schools, both quite good. One's accepted me already.

Mizzou (Journalism) and Truman (dunno if their journalism dept is any good, but it's a good place)

Half Day Tomorrow. Going with friends to haunted houses (again), the mall, and some corn maze.. Woo :D

I had a rather lengthy and interesting discussion with a friend about image compression. (Yes, I'm serious.)

80% chance of snow tomorrow! :goodjob:

Rave: Scanning bloody documents into the computer when I'd rather be reading my book... Scanner y y0u so sl00w?

Wrong thread, friend. Rants thread is thataway. *Turns you around and points you in that direction* ;)

Ah... I forgot the distinction between rave and rant.. Mea culpa. To get into the swing of things:

Oooooohhhh... JELLY BEANS!

I was going through my newspaper articles and I found a concert review that one of my friends once said made the concert sound like a giant orgasm. Some choice excerpts:

"It was the beginning of a transformation that would leave [his] audience gasping for relief yet begging for more. ... For [him], it was the climax of the show. ... He had charmed them, wooed them, moved them and now he had left them -- left them begging for more."

There was a lot of "moaning" and "gasping" and the crowd was "seductively" "hypnotized"

It was a bad day until French class. The teacher wasn't there, so we had a substitute, and we just watched Phantom of the Opera in French all period. Except only four of us watched Phantom of the Opera (weirdos with no social skills), and it was in English, not French. The substitute was really relaxed, so we could stand up and move around and stuff. I hung out with the Hispanic kids in the back corner.

Hey! We had a French sub today as well. It was nice.

Ugh...don't remind me...I don't want snow.

It was supposed to snow last night. But really it was like 2 flakes.
