I stopped reading Dr. McNinja about a year ago: is that time-travelling mayor storyline still going on?

Working on my site is a rave. I guess I'm weird.

And it's a nice day.

Last night I had a bizarre and slightly amusing dream that my cat (he was sitting in my computer chair and his front paws were on the keyboard) installed ... something ... on the computer that would make the flying toasters screensaver come up and you couldn't get it turned off no matter what you did. And my cat just sat there staring at it for hours.

Had a fun time with friends. I convinced them to cone McDonalds. Good times and good dubstep.
Cones from McDonalds? You can do better than that.

I watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

In what universe is that a rave?

DEVIL!!!! [pissed]

Too many here have those stupid pony avatars.

Anyways, Rave: Last night I remembered something from my childhood. My family was driving through a McDonald's drive through, and we saw a couple in a dimly lit restaurant with a candle on the table.

WTH?

A romantic evening AT MCDONALDS?!

It's a rave 'cuz it's funny as hell.

Actually, that's a good question. What exactly are random raves?
In the case of the threads, it's the opposite of random rants. You post about random things that you find good, blah, blaher, and blahest. :p

Rave: realised I have a classmate named Leslie Winkler. :rotfl:

This one's for you Takhisis...for all the times you call me DrumStudent...

Yesterday, out of the blue, a mother (we're riends with the family) called me up. And asked if I would be interested in teaching their 12 year old? maybe 11, anyway, the drums!!!! super psyched! As I said to mom, "It means I'm finally growing up! People are hiring me for stuff beyond pet sitting!"

So, anyway, working on a tentative lesson plan. Probably will do a 3 month trial, if he hates it, he can quit, if he loves it and begs relentlessly for a drumset, they should buy him one and it gets more fun.

I am no longer DrumStudent...I am the DrumTeacher!

Okay, time for a change name. But, since you're teaching a 12-year-old the drums, are you sure it ain't just pet-sitting? It's the mother who's been asking for it.

The mother called, but the kid wants to. I spoke to him a few days before the called actually, and he was mentioning wanting to learn the drums.

After school I saw the girl i liked, I walked up to her and was like "HEY" and hugged her, and then I was like "soo we should hangout some time after school or this weekend" and she said "Should we now?" I was like "Yeah of course" and she said "OK" .. wooo :P

See ya in the rants thread in a little bit. :p

Rave: Computer-based internet instead of crap smartphone internet for the next 7 to 8 days. :)

Given that he's 12 years old and interested in playing an instrument based on hitting things that make noise, there's a fair chance it won't be too different from petsitting.
