No. And even if there were, I doubt it would be closer than any airports closer to the beach. In fact, there's an airport just off the beach, along with a military airport a little further inland, both of which would probably work on Coast Guard Helicopters.

Can someone explain to me why dubstep is so popular? It is pretty good for background music or at a rave, but I honestly cannot see the attraction to actively listening to it.

As far as I can tell, it is simply a repetition of techo/electronic beats in different forms. While that makes it excellent background music, the lack of melody, theme development, or any sort of internal harmony makes it hard for me to listen to it as my brain sort of starts to melt out through my ears.

It's a style of electronic dance music with loud, 4/4 beats and loud, repetitive basslines, and is either really slow or moderate in tempo.

EDIT2: I've heard people refer to the beats as "wobbly," but I'm not quite sure what they mean by that.

I went to the one in North Market and spent a good hour in the music section. Unfortunately, they have essentially NO electronic music. But I did get two Aesop Rock albums!
