I'm about to embark on a road trip along the Oregon coast with some friends of mine. :D

Doesn't sound like a place I'd be very comfy living in.

How's the Communist threat?

Theres plenty of stuff not to like so if you don't like the pros then you're really screwed if you ever visit here.

I don't know is there any communist threat. I don't feel a communist threat. I did bring up The North in casual company tonight, and it went quiet. So perhaps they pose a threat to converational flow.

Blatant sexual attraction bias in a lot of women towards white men.

I don't get this one especially. Perhaps is the variation in eye colour.

This reminds me of those ads for Russian mail order brides  "Russian women are VERY attracted to Western men."

You're exotic ;) Or it could be that they can smell that your immune system is so vastly different. Probably both.

The pastor at church made a Monty Python reference in his sermon today.

He mentioned the "It's just a flesh wound" scene. Because people that haven't repented of their sins are like the night insisting "It's just a flesh wound", but Jesus helps us see how bad we really are.

My Mum got a new laptop from her university worth £600 along with a lot of software and accessories just because she is dyslexic

I hope it's "only" a mild form of dyslexia. In 7th grade (9th grade in UK I think), I had this girl who had dyslexia in my class. She often treated me like crap and tried to make me feel bad. Why? Because having dyslexia made school hard for her. Also, with her having had been considered and treated almost like a mentally disabled person (not really, but that's how she felt like) by her earlier teachers, she had real crap self esteem. It also didn't help that I was a kind of know-it-all.

Anyway, I hope you didn't mean "just because" as in "dyslexia isn't that big of a deal".

We don't do grades, as we measure in years of compulsory education, starting with Year 1 in the autumn of the year you turn five.

Thanks :) She has it relatively mildly, and I have it very mildly, so I doubt I'll get a free laptop. She actually only realised it this year and she's in her 40s (I don't know if she wants me to post her real age ) so she's lived with it for over 40 years without even realising, so it can't be that bad. It still hinders her in work so the laptop with all the software with it will be really helpful for her.

Found out today that I get to go to a MLB game in August (The Seattle Mariners). :)

Oh, you have dyslexia too? I'm sorry if I came across as standoffish. I can just get really annoyed when people demean or trivialise people with dyslexia (or other disabilities).

'was'? This irrefutable proof that CFC can make people be more adapted to society.

Well, I would like to think that I've just up and matured all on my own, but to be honest... CFC can really humble a punk arse.

Don't worry about it, I honestly don't mind :) I always joke about it all the time and say things a lot worse than most people would any way (even though I have it)
