There's already some snow on the ground, and a lot more is supposed to fall tonight and tomorrow. Hello, extremely long weekend.

We probably won't have school either, supposed to get up to 10 inches overnight here. (That's crazy for coastal Washington ) Everbody though school would be canceled or have a late start today and when I got on Facebook this morning I was greeted with dozens of posts about people who stayed up al night thinking there'd be no school. I slept because I'm a smart kid.

I haven't had school since last Friday and I'm still out tomorrow. Like Skwink, I'm hoping that that much snow actually does fall here tomorrow so we can get Thursday off, too. And heck, throw in Friday, 9-day weekends are awesome.

I mean seriously! Minnesota shouldn't have less then an inch in the Twin Cities in the middle of January.

Enjoy it while you can. I don't get a day off work for snow. However I got my interview date for my promotion (Feb 10). Hopefully I'll get bumped up the chain.

Distance between them on Google Earth: 7.56 miles (12.16 km)

Both are encompassed by suburbs.

There's a reason our baseball team is called The Minnesota Twins.

Think of it as a solar system around a Star Wars-esque binary star.
