Random Raves XXI: The Server is Working

Rave: After five months-ish without a backyard, the next week will see me get it back! :D

Tonight is Turbonegro night.

*headbangs away into the night*

I was watching a video that teaches parents how to deal with left-handed kids writing. The kids they used had really, really bad writing techniques. Like appalling. But, as far as I remember from grade school, I was never really taught how to write with my left hand, but yet, now, I have a really good technique. Weird.

I went to see The Avengers with friends and enjoyed it completely.

I'm left-handed and I'm always baffled how other "lefties" are taught to write in hand-crippling ways. I just write "normally", with my hand below the line like everyone else.

I'm flat-footed, myopic, acrophobic, haematophobic and Aspergic. I really don't need to worry about being left-handed as well. :)

There's not much left to do about those people.

I went to see the Avengers not with friends, but saw a friend or two at the theater. :p

I've had heartburn for about an hour and a half now, and when it first started, I took four antacids, the upper limit per dose defined by the label. The heartburn didn't go away. So when an hour (the minimum time between doses as defined by the label) passed, the heartburn was still there, so I took another four. It's been over 30 minutes, and the heartburn is still there, and it still hurts like crazy.

Either this is one seriously bad heartburn or the antacids are pure crap, or both.
Surprise, surprise; a dozen sips or so of Mountain Dew fixed the problem.

At least I didn't have to drink the whole bottle, which means I don't have to worry about being sleepless tonight. :goodjob:

I suppose this is the effect of Scarlett Johansson.

Scarlett at least can act.
