Highly debatable though I agree the acquisition of knowledge is fun. Also, I think when you're younger it's quite exciting seeing the depth of your knowledge increase as rapidly as it does at that age.

I did enjoy doing the maths exams from previous years when I was studying at school. I absolutely devoured them. I thought calculus was better than any magic trick.

I HATE Calculus. Topology, functions, integrals... I hate them with fierce passion.

Topology is extremely hard, in my opinion. (I don't know what you mean by topography - is that drawing places and surfaces?) But is it really possible to hate functions? I mean, are you sure maths is really the subject for you at all?

You're studying civil engineering, right? Are you more of a bricklayer?

I don't get it. Your attitude has me mystified. It's quite interesting.

You seem to really hate what you're doing. Possibly because you're not really doing it. And you're likely to fail.

Yet you won't give it up. And you apparently think you shouldn't fail.

Are you one of those people who enjoy hating things and being unhappy?

Such people exist? I am a complex person with multiple contradictions and duplicities. I will fail, and I deserve to. I must fail. It's a moral imperative.

But of course I don't like failing, I'd love to pass. But I must earn that, and I will have to work to achieve that. Which is why I complain, because I can't put myself to work or study.
