Fiancée is back in town.

Huge, dual exhale the rest of the night. God, I hope every finds this kind of love... it is amazing!

Good night, for a while..

Pam stole my supply, so I've been spooning a Barret .50 cal out in the desert near the border with Mexico.

You could murder a building with that thing.

No such thing as too much dakka.

Rave: Regular Internet connection reestablished at dorm. The speed and volume aren't as high as they used to be, as we're using a mobile router as a stopgap measure, but it's much better than nothing.

See, you shouldn't have gotten down when you lost your previous job.

Kinda crazy how much easier having a job makes finding your next job, huh?

At the time when I lost my other job, it was in the middle of a horrid recession and jobs were very scarce. Even to the point in thinking that online job application processes was nothing more than just throwing my resume into a black hole. So it was justified that I've gotten down since it took me around 2 years just to get another job.

It's not that dude. The job market is more competitive now than it's ever been. I'm sure you finding a new job so quickly is a combination of a) having a better-looking resume because your work history section looks better, and b) having more confidence going into interviews because you've done it before.

Nevertheless congratulations.

I support Owen's post.

I went back to school yesterday after a 1.5-2 year hiatus due to health. I am glad, of course, that things are sort of back to normal, but it still feels a little weird in a solemn way.

In other news, I am a step closer to possibly getting that internship at the same bureaucratic department my dad used to work at, according to the family friend who still works there, as he's said that human resources is now processing my application, so to speak, and there is, again, a good chance I might make it. Even so another family friend who works in a different branch of this department is also helping me find an internship in his branch too, and I think he might be able to really help me out too, because he thinks I'm cool for some reason ( he tried to set me up with his daughter one time in a slightly assertive, subtly awkward way).

Anyways, lesson here is, connections do really help. Hopefully I'll haave something decent by this summer.

Good fellowship.

Man, I'm glad I finally updated my never-updated movie blog today. My consumption of the gift of cinema should not be restrained in anyway. In fact, I fail to see a reason to finish watching the remaining 1,037 cinematic masterpieces in the next 1,037 days.

So, in conclusion, until February 1, 2018, I will be locking myself in my movie-watching bunker, armed only with a DVD player, a remote control, and a typewriter to construct my very important and deep thoughts about the audiovisual chef d'œuvres.
