In a very Heisenbergian twist, I must point out that just by checking in on that thread you've altered the number of views. So, by mentioning it and making it relevant for search-bots to crawl to it, you may have inadvertently prevented the end of the world as we know it.

But the quadra-six is already broken.

Q: Does an avatar with a crop out of your head cause a massive post count, or does a massive post count cause a crop out of your own head as avatar?
In Kyriakos' case, I think it means he might be related to some ancient Byzantine Emperor.

And you know that politicians always have a lot to say. :mischief:

It the archiving of serial threads still drops pc, then the difference is in flux.
That doesn't happen anymore, now that we're a XenForo forum.

The older serial threads' post count and staff forum post count for those of us who are retired are still permanently gone.

Don't forget the social groups.

Alas, DuneFanatics...

If memory serves, we never did get post count for social group posts.

So, after the Perfection and Kyriakos thing I randomly checked some forum profiles.
TIL that I have a one of the highest like/post ratios on this forum. It's about 9% and even Traitorfish has only ~7,75%.
The highest I've seen are Dachs with 10%, and Synsensa with 11,5%.

Edit, just saw Lohrenswald and Snerk are also above 10%. Is there some some Norwegian cabal ?

Then I'll need to stop liking you guys for a while to even things out. ;)

Oh, Lexicus has 18%.

Or throw random likes at Takhisis. Poor thing doesn't even crack 3%.

OK, that's part of the day wasted. Off to a stroll/hike.

I'm surprised mine is so high, and that those from the Civ forums don't have higher percentages either.

Although the like/post ratio will naturally be skewed. It counts every like on a post. Dachs and Traitorfish don't post much but when they do, they post real bangers.

My percentage is likely inflated because every now and then I post a particularly witty one-liner and those posts get something like 6-12 likes on them. My actual contributions to the site are little.

I agree with Synsensa that Synsensa is terrible. Shame! shame! shame!

edit: nah, you're good!

Thank you! I, however, think that you're better than I am at coming to an actual point rather than hovering around in its general vicinity.

That said, if likes were around back when NESing and #fiftychat were in their heyday, who knows what numbers some people would have?

Hardly surprising given that he mostly focuses on a few topics that are heavily divided and as a result gather a lot of "That guy's on my team!"-votes.

Even I, who holds and utters many opinions that are not shared by the majority of posters here, have a 13% posts-to-likes ratio probably because of that exact reason.

Ah, but the paragraphs you write do make for a fine journey. Better than the destination, I must say.

Anyway, this guy knows his ecosystem simulator games.
