I had an interview session today, I get a very weird conversation with one of the interviewee. She told me she joined a well known student organization, she mentioned to me the abbreviation and ask me if I know it, I told her that I don't. I ask her what about the organization that she joined in, she mentioned many important person, including former president that is the alumni of the organization, but it's only restrictively for student within a particular city, which is Bandung. She again continue to tell me in order to become a member of the organization there is a 10 days long initiation that consist mostly of plonco, which is a word to describes that acts of oppression from senior toward the junior.

All the suppose to be member in the organization will be sold to the alumni, they have variety of price according to their appointed rank, it may varies from 50 usd to 2000 usd, the senior will bargain with the alumni, and the senior will used that money for the organization expense. I told her so all of you practically getting line up by your senior like slaves and the alumni will bought you from the senior that acts like a kind of slave trader? She answer yes. We also got two name, the bad name and the good name, then I ask her what is that? The bad name is the name that is given by our parent and the good name is the name that the senior name for us.

I really cannot believe what I heard, and the General Manager who were accompanied me at that time told her that it is sound awful. She tried to defend her organization that it is all just fun and games, it makes them tougher as a person and bring them good connection and network, but again my friend told her that it's sound prone to many kind of exploitation, I'm quite disagree with him on putting what he has on his mind out loud and made unnecessary tension by questioning something that she proud of, however I understand his point and agree with him completely, but the place and time is just not right. This is really sound like the order of skull and bone from Yale, I ask her is she not suppose to tell this to us, isn't it suppose to be a secret, she tell me not at all.

But anyway she pass the interview, however really weird experience.

Traditionally, John Philip Sousa's music is played by absolutely terrible high school brass bands. I too loath this music. But somewhere in the dusty archives of forgotten Hollywood biopics is the one on John Philip Sousa, where they use musicians who are actually good. The music is quite stirring.

Iirc "Pleusi" is one made by pre-2015 Syriza mps who were actually half-decent. The other, "Enosi kentroon", is a centrist party, mostly clownish, which only got in parliament once.

Re seat number, ND seems to be anywhere from 156 to 170 (majority is 151) and Syriza has roughly half that (up to high 70s). Greek election law currently (since 1991 or similar) gives the first party +50 mps bonus.

According to the above, Varoufakis has at least 8 seats in the new parliament.

Also worth noting that there is an (albeit small) chance that GD won't manage to reach even 3%, thus be out of parliament. But it is too early to say if that is likely.

Foshay invited 25,000 guests to the dedication ceremony and provided all-expenses paid trips to many who included cabinet members, senators and congressmen. Half-nude dancers entertained. Each guest received a gold pocketwatch. The military gave 19-gun salutes. John Philip Sousa conducted music, including the "Foshay Tower–Washington Memorial March," a march he wrote for the occasion. Foshay presented Sousa with a check for US$20,000.[2]

Six weeks after the building's opening on November 2, 1929, Foshay's corporate empire was thrown into receivership at the onset of the Great Depression. I never thought from that perspective, tell me why I shouldn't? Maybe I can give a second thought to my boss for the last interview. I just think from her appearance, communication skill and network she is gonna be a good marketer

This is my paranoia speaking, but this is somebody who has outsourced her morality. She does not have an internal moral code anymore. She just does whatever she is told by them because they know best. At least you should know what her sect stands for and what they do, in greater detail.

I think you are right in a part that she is like a brain washed zombie that seeing her senior like a kind of saint and chosen people who know it all and all the bad things that they did have a good meaning behind it. And she is also one of them now actually, the cycle broh how the prey turned to be the predator, f up cycle of abused. The organization mostly doing philanthropic stuff, but damn man seeing the alumni must say I know many of their faces, politician, lawyer, academician that in top level. I just need to make sure non of our company rival are one of them, we had so many rival and haters honestly. (as long as her fervent loyalty to her organization not cross to our interest, am ok, maybe she can transfer her hysterical and fanatical loyalty to our company, looool I feel I'm a Daimyo while she is my ready to die ninja)

I just remember other thing also Takh, she told me they use slap and shake the contestant body during the initiation, all of the stuff are calculated and measured (slapping only cooperating the four finger) and their organization protected by the body of law (aka complain by the slap to the police will not get you anywhere) that time I just see her as a bully, but a kind of bully that we still can handle.
