I guess one would calculate by factorial, if they move by dividing themselves up into sets of repeated parts, and their world consists of rooms with varying number of spaces that contain one part each.

I think that issue probably doesn't come up often.
In Germany, we get everything dubbed, so we never wonder why anyone speaks German, no matter if the movie is playing in the US, UK, France or Mordor

Dubs used to be a thing on greek tv once (when I was in elementary school) for movies. Later on they only existed for cartoons. And even later those got replaced by subs as well.
I think that having dubs for non-kid tv is also a culture-supportive thing, but in reality it tends to sound ridiculous if the studio doing the dubbing isn't great.
That said, I generally don't mind watching anime with dubs.
I think that's certainly also a matter of training and experience.
In Germany, there's tons of XP with dubbing, since there's only stuff in German on TV.
If you'd now try to dub something in a country where there's basically nobody really qualified or experienced with it... yeah, that'll probably sound like a mess. Pretty sure the first movies dubbed into German also sounded ridiculous, but at that time nobody knew better anyways.
EDIT: Yeah, not everything works for dubbing, and some stuff stays.
Nobody would translate "Dr. Who" literally.

Some names are translated, but not all. Yes, in GoT there are names translated, IIRC.
e.g. Spiderman is also Spiderman in German (I think in Spain they translated "Wolverine"; I asked a friend if they do that with everything and if they e.g. translated "Brokeback Mountain", and she sharted laughing after doing "Montagne Espalda Rotta" (or however it's written)

I imagine being from North Belgium, they probably needed to dub it into Belgish.
This wouldn’t apply to England as pop culture has led me to believe they speak some form of English. Maybe they had to dub in words like “flat” and “lift,” but most of the time it’s mutually intelligible.
