I don't think I can do anything actually useful, but I can discuss ideas and possibly test too. I might also be able to get some obscure music and pictures for leaderheads, but don't trust me on anything. I'm notoriously unreliable. Might dissappear without warning.
 
If anyone is interested I posted ideas for possible civs in the civ thread and units in the unit design thread.
 
well, what about making REAL models? heh - I personally can't take that skinned thingy ;)

I'm here to create whatever 3D you want me to... preferably if you just tell me what to do and take over from there :p

i have some spare time.
i dont have any skills in programing or artist so those things arent good for me.
i have plenty ideas enouhg time to test if you teach me how to do things or show we a tutorial were i can learn it i can do that to.
so tell me were do you want me?
 
We have already 3 programmers and lots of people with ideas. We still need someone with python skills and a skinner to get a fully occupied team.

Edit: Btw, I may be able to do technology, terrain and improvement XML, but I´m not so familiar with those. I believe I can make terrain and improvement modifications after studying them a moment.

considering you've got no idea of what we want, I'd say we put all those .XML* Tasks to be individually split up to the programmers to decide who's got the energy, engagement and time to do the tasks we currently need to have done.
Especially considering Rothn is our programmer too.
 
I can have ideas. Not much else, though. I have no idea how to edit anything in XML, Python, or whatnot. I could also test it. I might be able to learn how to program stuff, but it would be horrible. I dunno what else I might be able to do, if you need something for me to do, just ask, and I'll see if I could try to do it. Just don't rely on me to do it well.;)
 
I would love to see a Star Wars mod for Civ4! While I am in no way an artist and I lack in the ideas department, I am skilled in C++ and can manipulate XML files with ease. I am soon to break open SDK and have a look around (currently downloading) so I can't vouch for my fluency in it, but I would love to help if possible.

Do you guys have an IRC channel by any chance?
