Bearded Riker/DS9 Worf > Unbearded Riker > TNG Worf

I'd probably go with Riker, but only by the hair of his chinny-chin-chin.

My take on this is:

DS9 Worf > Bearded Riker > TNG Worf > Bearded Riker > DS9 Riker

But while we're at it must be stated that you can't really beat Bearded Data

I think I'll go with Thomas Riker, the duplicate crated through that transporter accident.

Any man who says he serves on the U.S.S. Lollipop with a straight face deserves my vote.

It's a good ship.

I can't grow a beard and this almost feels like a beard contest (full vs stylized) so I want to go with a beardless fellow. Picard is the obvious choice, so I'll just say Data.

Or you know what? I'll go with the common man: Miles O'Brien. He might be an NCO, but he really shows how little rank can matter.

I have no idea what the OP is actually asking...

But I didn't actually like either of them (albeit both had a few funny scenes throughout their series' runs).

Boring series although i never like(d) sci-fi anyway :/

There was some other series of this sort (apart from the main ones, i mean) which at least had more interesting-looking aliens. Don't recall what it was called though, it aired in the mid 90s iirc...

Dr.Who had some decent aliens as well.

Worf.
Duty, honor, etc. He's a lot like me in that sense, which is why I would identify with him more. So that's why I would go with Worf.

Babylon 5?

The general consensus here seems to be "beards > things that are not beards."

I approve.

Riker has edged Worf out for my vote because I remember Riker's character development episodes more clearly.

Riker passed on promotion, and independent ship command, more than once. Were Starfleet a real military organization, that would have seen him put behind a desk until retirement. If not eased out altogether.

Who you would save from Klingons, or who you would jettison from the ship?
